I noticed the MOTD slight as well but I watch it for the football mostly not the generic, bland bs sprouted by their smug, overpaid presenters.
Of more concern to me is Bilic. Ok i worked out long ago that he is not top drawer but u do expect a certain level of competence. Yes we had key players out but men like Dyche, Wagner, Clement, etc seem to do alright with far less talented squads. It's only one game but something doesn't feel right. |

Think your find there too many sub standard players
In our team Why was it no one came for Joe hart cos he's **** Masuka is totally out his depth Frenandez young but I've not seen anythink Noble captain, should cut deal with him he as turning circles of Oil tanker , he's gone so paceless looks dangerous red card anytime away Obi just ain't got it imo good club player not first 12 Ayew is not up it worst buy in long time Read and ob too slow New lads need time Carrol needs retiring can't be **** with him He come back for two weeks be **** again Was Man U away for 20min I thought where ok But you could see a mistake away was on the cards anytime **** pass from obi |

I have Rafa in heart beat
|
|
By:
Rafa would be great for us, fattie. He would soon sort out the defence and Sullivan especially.
|
|
By:
Can see it now
If where **** bang under it in 3 months In comes big Sam ![]() |

Terrible I watched the game in the pub yesterday and didn't think we'd get anything from the game but what a horrible performance. Every time we got the ball the players seemed to panic and pass it in no direction.
Manager doesn't seem to have a Game B plan. |
|
By:
must be double figures number of times you'be shipped 4 or more since start of last season. bilic must come pressure soon surely ?
|
|
By:
7 goals in two games
**** off zab and Slav can join the old **** |
|
By:
Nice to have a striker at last.
That arnautovich bloke needs to be fined a months wages. Noble should have walked too. Awful tackle apparently. |
|
By:
What a frustrating performance. First of all Fonte and Ayew continue to be picked without ever justifying their selection. Obiang and Collins would have been far better picks. The least said about Arnautovich the better and a pity Reid got injured in the warm up.
|
|
By:
I forgot to add that Antonio despite coming back from injury was totally different class to anyone else on that pitch.
|
|
By:
Noble will run the risk every week he plays
Getting a red card He's a boat ! Imasonofbitch got problems wants to kill someone Every match I've seen him ever play Need to be fined for that !! Our defence is rank Since dicks been back room we have been a shambles at the back Rio offer was there Slav **** himself We know why |
|
By:
Bilic played alongside Dicks so probably old pals and all that. You would think between them they would sort out the defence.
|
|
By:
Want him gone
Slav your useless cant get a team to play with basics Defend |
|
By:
****g embarrassing
this club had all summer to sort Out back line Ain't like where going home to fortresses either |
|
By:
he's gone surely after this ? doubt newcastle will 3-0 again all season
|
|
By:
awful..totally awful..
|
|
By:
just pay the fkin money and get Carvalho in asap
|
|
By:
Timely international break. He's gone I would think.
We'll concede 70+ goals at this rate. 'Home' form was shocking last year. Can't see anything different this. Nice bloke but... |
|
By:
They could do worse than get 39 year old RICARDO Carvalho in ASAP!! 10 goals in 3 games - They really have the ability to make even the worst sides around look like world beaters!

New manger
Few defenders in befor window closes ****g shambles |
|
By:
number of times you've been hammered since the start of last season is an absolute disgrace. any number of 3, 4 and 5 goal thrashings
|

My Newcastle mates where telling me
What a shower they where Not premier ready they Dick us 3 zip |
|
By:
I came out of the ground last year against Saints. 0-3. I felt relieved it wasn't more. Think that was September/October.
Against Hull in December each time WE got a corner we looked liked conceding. It was laughable. Bilic hasn't got a scooby I'm afraid. Oh well, nothing changes at WHU. Was ever thus. |
|
By:
The manager obviously needs to go, but replaced by who?
At one point in the 2nd half Newcastle had a throw in on the halfway line and the player was able to throw it straight to a player stood in the centre circle with nobody anywhere near to him. That proved beyond doubt that nobody had a clue what they were supposed to be doing. I await the Match of the Day analysis with interest. |

The Transfers. smoke and mirrors.
It ain't how much u spend but how well. The facts. Our net spend is less than wba, Soton, bmouth, Leicester, hfield, Brighton, ncastle. What exactly did we buy? 2 blokes from man c 1 past his prime the other on the skids. The stroppy, inconsistent poser who only came here for 1 last payday(5 yr contact, circa 100k per week WTF). Hernandez is the only 1 i rate. The stadium No matter how lush the surrounding or how attractive the terms of the lease we don't own it. It feels rootless. The manager Now that fat Sam's defensive discipline has worn off we are seeing what Bilic is made of. It ain't pretty. Conclusion. SNAFU. |

Current betting for next manager to be appointed:
Rafael Benitez - 5/2 Roberto Mancini - 11/2 Simone Inzaghi - 8/1 Slavisa Jokanovic - 8/1 Marcelo Bielsa - 9/1 Eddie Howe - 11/1 Roger Schmidt - 12/1 Rudi Garcia - 14/1 Alan Pardew - 14/1 Roy Hodgson - 14/1 |

By:
WTF did we sell Fergouli. Apart from Antonio we don't have any naturally wide forwards. At the time we sold him i agreed bcoz i thought we were clearing the decks in order to bring in a
Next level signing ie Carvalho but it looks like he's not coming bcoz as per normal those coonts can't close the deal. |
|
By:
Whoever is managing the team first needs to sort out the defence as it seems to me are incapable of functioning at all without Reid.
|
|
By:
I agree with FFAITH s
Net spend is **** all with ins and outs Next manger betting is he sacked or gone yet ? |
|
By:
Mancini will come in I think.
Many blame the board and of course the move is horrid. But Bilic has had a few transfer windows to shape the team into his image. It's garbage. 3 wins in 17 Prem games. Huddersfield will approach the next game as a free hit. Going to this one and I think it could get lively! |

Slaven Bilic will be given a few more games after West Ham consider sacking him
Talks are expected to take place on Monday morning CREDIT: REUTERS Jason Burt, chief football correspondent John Wardle 27 AUGUST 2017 • 9:23AM West Ham United are planning to give Slaven Bilic a few more games to turn around the club’s fortunes – but have considered sacking their manager after Saturday's dismal 3-0 defeat at Newcastle. Bilic will holds talks with the club on Monday but rather than a face-to-face meeting, it will be the usual Monday morning debrief with the owners. However, they will want to know how Bilic can improve the team’s fortunes after losing their first three Premier League matches and conceding 10 goals. There is concern over Bilic’s tactics, team selection and also training methods, which have carried on from last season when West Ham struggled following their move to the London Stadium. At that time, Bilic’s future was in some doubt but having steered West Ham to finish 11th in the table, he proved that he deserved to stay on and has been given the opportunity to invest in the squad this summer. It certainly appears that Bilic will carry on for now, which would seem to be the right decision, not least because it is so early in the season, West Ham have yet to play a home game and also because the summer signings are his choices. He also deserves the chance to improve things. Those signings include Marko Arnautovic for a club record of up to £24 million, Javier Hernandez for £16 million plus Pablo Zabaleta and Joe Hart, the goalkeeper on a season-long loan. West Ham still hope to break their club record fee again with the signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho but that deal has stalled with the two clubs remaining £5.5 million apart in their valuation for the Portugal international. West Ham have offered up to £33.6 million. Their next games, after the international break, are at home to Huddersfield Town, then away to West Bromwich Albion before two more homes games – against Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City. Given there are further international games after those four fixtures, and the Carabao Cup tie at home to Bolton Wanderers, which is less important, they would appear to be the ones to determine Bilic’s future. |

Thou I never rated Tomkins highly
Never should of sold him So light at the back he needs to sacked on that Alone Want him gone same old same old Another 3 games be to ****g late |

Saw Zaza play last night he's still pony. This post is more about his club. I was happy to see that under Marcelino Valencia fc are once again competitive. Marcelino did good work at Villarreal as well. Would like to see him here if(when?)we replace Bilic.
Valencia also have a dm on loan from inter called Kondogbia. IMO he's in the same class as Carvalho if anything he is more mobile yet we weren't linked to him. Talking of ex players Calleri scored a bullet header for Las Palmer against A. Madrid. Who knew he had that in his game? |
|
By:
As I said to my mate it hurts to go against the manager but is it really any surprise we've lost the 1st three games and conceded so many goals...
Payet basically saw he was carrying the team and the manager was lucky to have him. |
|
By:
My biggest worry is the players are playing with real fear already which is ridiculous considering it's only the start of the season. We only stayed up last year because of look who went down. The teams who have come up this season already look stronger than last year's lot.

I was a big fan of Bilic as a player as I also was of Di Canio!!

Naby Keita is undergoing a medical today as #LFC secure his signing for next summer. Paid his £48m release clause + a premium to get it done
That's how serious clubs operate. He was 1 of our "targets". |
|
By:
Sorry got him confused with Keita Balde who was 1 of our targets.
Regardless of the mistaken id i still respect the way they have gone about their business. |
