21 Feb 17 13:29 Gambling Commission are the joke. Sunbets have got the publicity they wanted in spades and a few people made a few quid - no one lost. Someone should tell GC that Betway are offering Douvan at 33/1 for the Champion Chase! Absolutely spot on! I bet Sunbets can't believe their luck, publicity worth well over six figures. It is ridiculous with all the skulduggery and blatant fraud committed by the bookmaking industry on a DAILY BASIS that the GC are attempting to make Wayne Shaw a scapegoat to justify their own existence, as Brian rightly says, a 'joke'! |

bit of a pie up .. happened late after all subs were on and 10 mins to go ..he had starved himself for hours to give a good show for the club ,,,had he been playing ? may not have happened ..? ...to be dismissed.. for a default ???? what happened to verbal warning or written warming for discipline .
not getting on as a sub was just too much to bare . .. football taking any dosh they can from the game including adverts round the ground .. gambling ..pies etc .. .. wake up call to football fans what a sad day it is .. to think they can keep a lid on no footballers or staff enjoying a wager . including single bets .. etc .. brought this on themselves .. One knows this a .huge no brainer .. .... 30 years ago encouraging a person to bet in an office for that game was an offence by the bookmaker holding the licence .. >/the betting licence would be suspended then revoked at next meeting of ...licence ... board ..? ... times change all the time for the worse .. What price was the guy not to eat the pie ..??? |

Why has this man lost his job ? yes he has probably breached FA betting regulations however does that mean he has to lose his job.
Why have Sutton united caved in when they could have invoked other discipline measures as after all has he not built up any credit with all his work for Sutton united when balanced against this enticement by the bookies. And then you compare this person losing his job against a Mr Barton of many indiscretions over the years when he has breached FA betting regulations 100s of times or is it 1000s of times and Mr Barton did not lose his job so this shows that Sutton united did not have to dispense with his services. |
