If you want to back the sutton, just imagine how happy you would be should the names ozil, ramsey and walcott appear on the team sheet of the gunners.
Throw in coquelin for good measure.
Would not want to see wellbeck at any time during the course of the evening.

If ozil doesn't play after the way he strolls around the pitch thinking he does everybody a favour just by being on the pitch wenger has lost the plot.

Not to often I would Arsenal as a punt unless its against, had a pop at Arsenal to win both halves yesterday @ 2.25 thinking with the lashing they got of Bayern second half, that they would possibly take this more seriously, plus the fact they are playing Sutton. 2.25 seems decent enough price for the bridge in class.

If Arsenal field a similar team they did against Southampton (which was their reserves) hard to see it, will have to be pretty much a youth team for Sutton to have a chance.
Report Des Pond February 20, 2017 5:41 PM GMT
This is the kind of game that Walcott relishes. I hope he does play, so that when he starts smiling and hugging his team mates after scoring a tap in. The real fans can let him know, in no uncertain terms, what they think of him. Sad
Report roadrunner46 February 20, 2017 5:52 PM GMT
arsenal will be playing a strong team according to arsene wenger, they dont play again to 4th march, they should score at least 4 goals tonight IMO
Report thelatarps February 20, 2017 5:53 PM GMT
I think the reason this fred asks the right question  is that the arsenal have a reputation  of being soft
Sutton, if they know whats good for them, will long ball it all night.
Kick and foul the arsenal players when they have the ball.
Seeing as sutton are the home team, the romance of the cup blah blah then the ref, michael oliver, may let them get on with it.
Its what lincoln did at burnley.
Its up to Wenger to pick a team to deal with that.
There is a pretty strong suspicion, given recent results, that Arsene will just pluck an xi out of his backside and let the chips fall where they may.
Personally,
if i see granit xhaka, elneny in the line up with big giroud up front then i think ars will be fine.
SOme of the kids wouldnt be the worst decision in the world. THat maitland Niles looked a useful holding midfielder at southampton.
However, if wenger thinks he can pass his way out of trouble here then he could be in for an uncomfortable night
And I wouldnt rule out the home win

Can someone tell me what Im supposed to press to see the games which are on today, when I go to football its all fa cups, and other comps on the main page, I just want to look at site they way it used to be. I really don't have the patience for fcuking about trying to find something that should be straightforward.
Report stroodle February 20, 2017 6:04 PM GMT
Just pressed today's games, surely there is more than 12 games and they're not in order of time. Why do people have to change things Cry
Report Des Pond February 20, 2017 6:05 PM GMT
Agree with stroodle. I just want to see a simple list of today's games, maybe with British and major fixtures highlighted. I also want to see all the main markets for each game, on one page. I can't understand why they keep on tinkering with it.

Team to face Sutton: Ospina, Gabriel, Mustafi, Holding, Monreal, Elneny, Xhaka, Lucas, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Walcott.
Subs: Martinez, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Maitland-Niles, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez.

Listened to the chairman being interviewed on R5 earlier and it was pretty depressing.  At no point was the actual match discussed or even mentioned. It was only about the money.  How much they'd make, what they could do with it.
The chairman more or less said that Arsenal should do the decent thing and make a donation that would pay for new dressing rooms, floodlights, stadium roof etc.

He said his dream result would be a draw, because it would guarantee them more money via the replay.  Not once did he suggest that the best result could be a win, something for the fans to remember forever.
As such, I fully expect the instruction from the boardroom to be to stick all eleven behind the ball and play for a 0-0 like their lives depended on it.  It wouldn't surprise me that if it was 0-0 with five mins to go and Sutton got a penalty, the striker would be instructed to miss it deliberately.

A couple of years ago, Cambridge had Man Utd in the cup, and I made the same argument as above.  They held out for a 0-0 which was 23's to back.  Today I've just backed it a 44's.  Of course Arsenal should find a way through, but it won't be easy.  44's could look a very tasty price if we get into the second half still goalless.
