If you want to back the sutton, just imagine how happy you would be should the names ozil, ramsey and walcott appear on the team sheet of the gunners.
Throw in coquelin for good measure.
Would not want to see wellbeck at any time during the course of the evening.

Why not?

If ozil doesn't play after the way he strolls around the pitch thinking he does everybody a favour just by being on the pitch wenger has lost the plot.

Not to often I would Arsenal as a punt unless its against, had a pop at Arsenal to win both halves yesterday @ 2.25 thinking with the lashing they got of Bayern second half, that they would possibly take this more seriously, plus the fact they are playing Sutton. 2.25 seems decent enough price for the bridge in class.

If Arsenal field a similar team they did against Southampton (which was their reserves) hard to see it, will have to be pretty much a youth team for Sutton to have a chance.

This is the kind of game that Walcott relishes. I hope he does play, so that when he starts smiling and hugging his team mates after scoring a tap in. The real fans can let him know, in no uncertain terms, what they think of him. Sad

arsenal will be playing a strong team according to arsene wenger, they dont play again to 4th march, they should score at least 4 goals tonight IMO

I think the reason this fred asks the right question  is that the arsenal have a reputation  of being soft
Sutton, if they know whats good for them, will long ball it all night.
Kick and foul the arsenal players when they have the ball.
Seeing as sutton are the home team, the romance of the cup blah blah then the ref, michael oliver, may let them get on with it.
Its what lincoln did at burnley.
Its up to Wenger to pick a team to deal with that.
There is a pretty strong suspicion, given recent results, that Arsene will just pluck an xi out of his backside and let the chips fall where they may.
Personally,
if i see granit xhaka, elneny in the line up with big giroud up front then i think ars will be fine.
SOme of the kids wouldnt be the worst decision in the world. THat maitland Niles looked a useful holding midfielder at southampton.
However, if wenger thinks he can pass his way out of trouble here then he could be in for an uncomfortable night
And I wouldnt rule out the home win

Can someone tell me what Im supposed to press to see the games which are on today, when I go to football its all fa cups, and other comps on the main page, I just want to look at site they way it used to be. I really don't have the patience for fcuking about trying to find something that should be straightforward.

Just pressed today's games, surely there is more than 12 games and they're not in order of time. Why do people have to change things Cry

Agree with stroodle. I just want to see a simple list of today's games, maybe with British and major fixtures highlighted. I also want to see all the main markets for each game, on one page. I can't understand why they keep on tinkering with it.

Think Ive found something you have to press view by time just under the main football banner, that seems to have given me more games and in order, suppose it's just trial and error till you get the hang of things again.

ARSENAL TEAM NEWS
Team to face Sutton: Ospina, Gabriel, Mustafi, Holding, Monreal, Elneny, Xhaka, Lucas, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Walcott.
Subs: Martinez, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Maitland-Niles, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez.

Not the strongest line up Arsenal could have put out.

Was hoping to play the ''safer'' stuff like laying the 0-0 and backing draw no bet, but not with that team. Same thing as I said for Lincoln, Burnley too short for a side thats weakened

Sutton were very impressive against Wimbledon and Leeds, could be interesting

yes trilby -you are a madman .

trying to think of the highest ever placed side to go out to non league .

non league would normally beat the stragglers  as has been managed by Lincoln,Luton,Sutton,Hereford , Altrincham and Harlow town  amongst others . Must be more .

Woking deserve a mention for poss' the most one sided brilliant display v West  Bromwich from Tier2  . A few decades ago now but worth watching  the Buzaglo chap  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiW95xge7CY

Sutton are playing their first ever fifth round FA Cup tie in their history.

By contrast, this will be Arsenal's 54th game at this stage since 1925/26.
