It would be a brave man who'd deny the presence of Olivier Giroud on that list.

Need to define 'world class'

Often end up with people saying Messi and Ronaldo are world class , no one else is as good as them so no one else is world class Crazy

Everyone in the OP's post bar Hazard(and add Silva) for reason mentioned by above.
and Ozil, Sanchez, Firmino & Mane are knocking on the door if the keep it consistent.

Maybes:
Sturridge if he playing regular and banging them in.

if ozil and sanchez are world class arsenal should be winning the league by at least 10 points. any of the top 6 signing gareth bale would walk this league

Well as said , world class has to be defined .

Are you saying if you aren't as good as Bale you're not world class ?

Ozil and Sanchez both world class imo , though Bale is better.

I would try and define it as , if they were put in Barca/RM/Bayern team , would those teams be significantly weaker . I think no they would not be significantly weaker.

world class

top 3 or 4 in their position in the world ?

good enough to get into a world xl squad v mars ?

not many englanders in there, rooney probably the last but
hes off the boil, or finnish depending on whos speaking.

kane may be englands best player in terms of world class
but i think hes a deal to proove just yet , but probably will
do, fingers crossed if retaining fitness

I'm a Spurs fan, I love Harry Kane, but with the best will in the world he can not possibly be described as world-class.

There always seems to be like infinite number 10s or attacking midfielders in the discussion of world class, but really depending on your definition they can't all be included.

For me world class should be in the top few places in their position, basically would they get into virtually (because you have things like MSN at Barce skewing it) any team in the world.

Aguero, De Gea are the first two that leap off the page looking at the Prem.

no mention of Claudio Bravo though. Formerly Barcelona's keeper now at City...I guess a few mistakes changes a lot Tongue Out

As has already been said world class is a term that cannot be defined at all easily and there are numerous number 10's who are superb players but can they all be world class. On the other hand look at full backs and tell me who you think is world class. I'm not sure there are many if any in the world that people would consider 'world class' but someone has to be.

Can this be limited so fans can't nominate players from their own team.

I'd previously say Aguero and De Gea but I think both have dipped quite a bit below their top form in the last 12 months. Hazard looks like being the closest to join the elite right now I reckon.

And I think we need to add consistency as a caveat, the ability to perform year after year. Both Mahrez and Payet looked world-class last season but much less so this season.

Maybe we are being a little harsh on the EPL! So I'll chuck a few in, excluding City players, that are probably worthy of a mention Tongue Out

Koscielny
Azpilicueta
David Luiz
Ozil
Sanchez
Ibrahimovic (bit long in the tooth but hey ho Laugh)
Lloris
Cech
Pogba
Willian

Its the definition of world class thats the problem Whilst I think that Aguero is the best striker in the league and probably world class not sure he'd start for a Earth team if we played Mars.
That aside i'd go with the OP's list and note sadly that no English player close to getting on the list

Both Ozil and Sanchez failed to make a real impact at the very top level.  Very decent players but not quite world class. Why did no other European giants show an interest in them before they ended up at ....Arsenal?
