Hope Irish eyes are smiling at the end of the game, strange though a team like Belgium feel the need to play two holding midfielders.

It's probably a bit too much to ask, but I'd like both teams to progress so I'm hoping this ends 3 - 3 or 4 - 4 or something like that. Think that's the best result for that, assuming both teams win their final group game. I know it's hard to envisage Ireland beating Italy, but they've done it before when it mattered...

ROI are terrible. Can't keep the ball, hoofing it to nowhere. Belgium are no great shakes but their possession will tell at some point against a very poor side.
