Wolf, did you see the Stoke v Spurs thread, with the Delli-Alli bet?,a masterclass in after-timing
![]() |
By:
The funniest one was where he predicted overs , the home team to win , a red card and an anytime goalscorer of player X. The match finished 0-0 but he had still greened up apparently.
By:
He was taught all he knows by mugger.
By:
Apparently the reason was he had correctly predicted a 3-2 scoreline in the bolivian 2nd division to cover all losses

By:
I put on a shedload of goals bets and Brighton to win pre-match, which are all losing, but I still end up with a massive green because one of the 2 teams scored a goal.

I don't know whats worse, the bets or the people typing well done after one of 55 bets comes in forgetting the rest lol.
By:
that's what concerns me wolf, quite a few people seem to be taken in, and they could end up trying to do the same, with inevitable results

I've just logged on to see what the banter is and I find this dead thread. kelly is one of the good guys on here, no wonder this forum is dying with idiots like you two. Go and get a room.
By:
here comes one of the followers
By:
@ pauliow, he may well be a "good guy", i wouldn't know. what i do know is that he is a fantasist.
By:
Define a "good guy" ? Someone betting on everything with idiots like you Pauliow saying well done fits the bill fairly well
By:
tell me something pauliow? Do you put on the "bets" suggested by kelly? Of course you don't, you would be heavily in debt if you did.
By:
I don't know him but read the forum and it's utterly ridiculous week after week this nonsense of loads of bets on the same game claiming to be profiting. I'd have more respect if he just said he hasn't a clue and is just betting on every market hoping for the best.
By:
Spot on, a bit more honesty would be appreciated.

looks like its gonna be desperately tough for albion to progress now, no doubt crofts will come in for sidwell and if we have no replacement for godson we may play 3 across the back but without hamed our only real choice is to play lua lua,we've had zero luck in the last 4 games and even if we somehow overcome tonights 2 -0 defeat we will be without our magician knockeart against derby/ hull.looks like its all but lost , but only LL BUT, not totally.i couldn't believe how few chances shelf created after we went down to 10 and they missed the chance to totally finish the tie.
By:
what a good guy houghton is, not whingeing just honest, he knows we've got hardly any fit players to put out .if we we do go through the amex will go crazy
By:
Trouble is we finished 15 points clear of Sheff Wed, one crazy night of injuries and all bar a miracle, the team that finished 15 points behind us, is going to Wembley. As I have said before and I'll say it again, the way the play-offs are set up is a joke.
By:
It is a joke cricket and it is only done for money ,nothing to do with sport at all .
Brighton earned the right by finishing 3rd fair and square . If you wanted to make a place for the play offs base it on something tangable , example if Sheff W had gained more points since the new year - otheriwse think of a new system ,this one sucks . |
By:
they brought it in in 1987 and it was a stupid idea then .
but it was justified by 'mid table teams having something to play for' i mean either youre effin good enough or your not . ![]() |

kelly is one of the good guys on here
Is he? Do I need to bump the 666Bet thread where he claimed that the owner was his mate, all was above board and they certainly wouldn't be going bust? You'll never guess what happened next... |
By:
The playoffs arent a stupid idea unless you support the team that finishes third. What interest is a league where most would have nothing to play for with months left in a season if it was just the top 3 promoted? If interest dropped then the game would suffer with financial consequences for all including Brighton.. if they were good enough they would have finished top 2 over 46 games and knew the format like everyone else.
By:
The scoreline itself was something along the lines of what i thought it would be though i went for 3-1. A two goal deficit wouldn't bother me if i was a Brighton fan as they are more than capable of turning it around which is what i thought would happen in the 2nd leg. What would bother me now though is the injuries, especially those to Hemed and Knockaert which obviously will make things difficult now.
By:
The scoreline would bother me and clearly bothers most as pre match Brighton were favourites to qualify at 1.7 and are now approaching 5. Its an awful result and you can probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of teams that have overturned a 2 goal deficit in 30 years of playoff history to get to Wembley.

Pretty sure they said it's never been done. Not 100% on that though. |

Interesting reading this thread and even when the officials get a very tricky decision right a number of people are still slagging them off. Admittedly one or two backtracked and apologised which is good to see but a few others didn't. Who would want to be an official when you get slaughtered even when you get a decision right.

We lost the first leg 2-0 at home to Blackpool and then did them 3-0 away in 1995.
By:
I agree with Pauliow
By:
Were you at that game Rob? It may be that my mind is not what it was but I think I remember some story about Blackpool having adverts for London travel and accommodation in the match programme that day??
Oh and Torquay beat PNE 2 nil at Plainmoor in 1994 and PNE won second leg 4 1 |

Yep, I was there. That, Everton away in the Cup and the Wolves match where we got promoted probably rank as the top 3 games I've been to. And you are correct. Allardyce was also wishing the Blackpool fans a great day out at Wembley. Can't imagine that Kamara needed much of a team talk; just nailed the programme to the wall and let that do the talking. We went out, did them 3-0, then Allardyce got sacked . |

By:
Great so only 22 years ago , gives hope to all Brighton fans .. lump on
By:
as i say BRIGHTON should be promoted ,
absolute folly that a team that finishes 15 points clear of 4th place team doesn't go up on merit . football needs looking at . designed by the brain of a 6 year old |
By:
atleast have 2 promoted automatically then it should/could be
pos 3 v 17 epl pos 4 v 16 epl pos 5 v 15 epl over 2 leagues are the EPL teams running scared that they could finish 15th and get beaten by a teeny weeny team from the league below . and who came up with the name 'Championship' wtf is that all about ? call it a proper name like the second division or league two or something sensible . ![]() |
By:
over 2 legs * that should read
By:
Wolf, yes it was 22 years ago but what I forgot to mention that whilst PNE did overturn the 2 goal deficit they got mullered at Wembley by Wycombe. Managed by Martin ONeil and 20 a day **** machine Simon Garner up front. Not a good day.
