Gone from 5000/1 to 20/1 apparently. Still amazing price after 17 games-nearly half of the season but they are still considered outsiders to keep it going.

What price were Blackburn at the start of their winning season?

Guaranteed to be two wins ahead of third place on Christmas Day now.

Ipswich in 1962 - yes - how did i not think of that one  coming from the town . Sir Alf and all that

They were rank outsiders  -  and i think the worst performing title defenders since

sagefrom , didn't Blackburn start the season with Jack  Walkers new money buying some star players ?  -not sure on that .  They still would have beena  good price mind  with MU as strong favourites i'm guessing .

Blackburn were the previous year's runners-up and 4th the year before that. Were far from surprise winners.

But Blackburn spent a lot of cash and were one of the favourites from the beginning of the season to win the league.   Not quite the same.

Incredible, when it comes to season long bets like this, most people would have had Leicester bottom by Christmas never mind top

First PL team ever to be bottom of the league one Christmas and top of the league the next.   Cool

Weren't they the first team ever to avoid relegation having been bottom at Christmas? Hence the second part is redundant anyway.

i saw the other day that Leicester played a league match with Yeovil in April 2014 and 20 months later Leicester were top of Premier League and Yeovil bottom of League 2

Being a Leicester supporter, player atm must be like being on the most natural high ever.  Higher than any drug could take you.  Top of the league, top goalscorers, playing attacking football and,for the older vintage, always looking forward to motd.

Go Leicester(except of course when they are playing my lot) go and finish the job.

Next two games away at Pool and home to Manc.   6 points there me thinks.

And Pool are 1.78 to win that game.  Absolutely bizarre odds.   Pool are rubbish at Anfield.

I am a Leicester fan ! Just absolutely unbelievable at what is happening ! Always been a yo-yo club, had a bit of success under O'neill . Stuck in the Championship for a few years and even went down to league 1 for a season ffs. Fantastic when got promotion a couple of seasons ago. The Owner was quoted as saying want to be a top 5 club within 3 seasons, I thought don't say things like that because it sounds embarrassing, especially when we was losing week in week out last season. Then the great escape happened and we kept winning and amazingly stayed up. And now we have just carried on where we left off last season. We keep getting results so it might just be possible .

Must be great being a Leicester fan at the moment, lifelong supporters must be in heaven with all this vile money about.

Readings 106 team that finished 8th in epl was as good as it got for me, well apart from the simod cup final.
