Premier league money has basically wiped out any competition (not that there was much) in the Bundesliga and the french league. Whilst Bayern and PSG strengthen, most of the other clubs have seen their best players raided by premier league sides.

Top 4 surely, Sol. I've have Spurs in the list of sides paying way over the odds for players the big boys would not be interested in. cf. any of their signings since...(went back as far as 2008/09 so any help appreciated!)

Dortmund look pretty strong this year. Guess we won't get to see how strong as they aren't in the Champions League.

In this latest transfer window more than double was spent in the EPL compared to the La Liga. Yet La Liga still has the best sides and the best league. How does that work out? Are the English completely stupid?

It would be unbelievable, but somehow it all fits the picture of the venal cesspool that football has become.

Man U and Spurs dropping points this week, with Chelsea up next.
Hot on he heels of only Arsenal gaining maximum points last week.

Leicester, Palace, Everton and Liverpool all in with a chance of breaking into the top 5.

I have a feeling Chelsea, United, City and Arsenal are going to be spending a ****load in the next two transfer windows!

Three was from ten in the past fortnight.
Suspect they need to spend.
But, will they spend well?

All the real top players are at the big clubs Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG even...all those teams onto a good thing so can't see players leaving....

Aside from that...the striker at Dortmund, Godin at Atletico maybe obtainable. But even they are unlikely...so who else they going to buy?

I suspect they'll try to upset the applecart at Leicester.
Best way to stop the best side in the Midlands.
