I know mate. My bro(who refuses to back on mucky friendlies) always says to me you get what you deserve when getting involved with them. Turns out the disgusting Russia result didn't matter with Ukraine's failure to win also. But did you happen to watch that Russia-Kazak game? The sad thing about it wasn't the the fact that Russia failed to win against such a terrible side, it's much more the fact they played and looked just as terrible as their opposition. 2 incredibly rotten sides stumbling about the pitch displaying a level of "technique" and passing ability that wouldn't look out of place in a pub league.

Round 6...

bet #1 => £5 on The Strongest @ 1.37(if they fail you know which thread I'll be on..to bash a certain tipstah...)

Can't bring myself to watch anything that Capello is involved in he's been stealin a living for a long time now.

Agree on Capello. Absolutely incredible how that man can be paid so handsomely. I always remember when he was first appointed as the England manager(when he could barely speak a word of the langwij Crazy) and the cameras were following him around everywhere...SSN showed him sitting sipping coffee and nodding along as he was pretending to have a conversation with psycho Pearce Laugh

Nothing much jumping out today. Porto taking on Maritimo around 1.50? Interestingly Maritimo were the last side to beat them. Cup games can be as absurd as friendlies though. Are Porto really that motivated here? I'll keep an eye out for their lineup and see if they're worth chancing at this early stage...

ATR: "This can go the way of THIRD TIME LUCKY who has hit the crossbar the last twice. He pulled well clear of the rest of the field when chasing home an enterprisingly ridden rival over track and trip on his latest outing and won't find many better opportunities to open his account."...Timeform: "THIRD TIME LUCKY was steadily progressive last term and has shown enough to suggest he can win one of these."...Oddschecker: "Eastern Racer and THIRD TIME LUCKY both have an official rating of 77. Brian Ellison's gelding was only beaten half-a-length at Thirsk on his final start last year and Tom Marquand takes off 7lb but all of his form is over sprint distances whereas Richard Fahey's grey was second over this track and trip in September and is likely to stay further this season...RP: This looks a good opportunity for THIRD TIME LUCKY to open his account on his reappearance. He showed enough - including over this C&D - in four starts to suggest he has strong claims in a race of this nature and the gelding operation may well eke out a bit of improvement.

The "experts" have spoken Wink

Hi guys,

I am new to this thread but like these documented pipe dreams of reaching 5k or more with all or nothing bets.

My tip to you guys today is a "both teams to score" accumulator.

3pm - Nottingham Forest Vs Wolves
5.15pm - Ipswich Vs Bornemouth
7:45pm - Derby Vs Watford

All of the sides above seem to be firing in front of goal but are also suspect to letting a goal or two in at the other end. it works out to be between a 4/1 - 6/1 treble (depending on who you go with) and hopefully will give us a bit of interest right up to this evenings games!

Good luck all.

I have gone for £40.00 on this treble which will give me a nice return if successful.

GL all with todays bets!

Wow £40 @ 4/1-6/1 this is a fast track entry compared to what's gone before gl. Grin
By:

When: 03 Apr 15 18:15
Well, I thought I was gone at the first hurdle but luckily Dexter Blackstock put a consolation goal away with 4 minutes of injury time already played.

Good to see Ipswich get an early goal and since then Bournemouth have bombarded the Ipswich goal. 10 shots to Ipswich's 2. Half time still 1-0 but it will take a herculean defensive performance to keep Bournemouth out if it goes the same way as the first half. I just hope its not one of "those" games.

thanks FTTOYW.

I have banked £150 of my £202 Winnings.

I have done a little Treble (Longshot)£3.70 for a pot return of £130.07 :
Liverpool to beat Arsenal
Everton to beat Southampton
West Ham to beat Leicester

The one of the 3 that I really fancy is Everton at home to Southampton. I think that Everton have found a bit of form recently even though they were dumped out of the Europa League and Southampton - although still punching above their weight - have found it a little harder going.

I have gone for £25 @ 2.84 for Everton to beat Southampton at home

I have also gone for the following scorelines in this game :

Everton 2-1 @ 12.00
Everton 2-0 @ 16.5

Lukaku seems to be the man in form...£2 @ 6.6 for 1st goal.
Leighton Baines is the man for free kicks and pens...£2 @ 18.00 for 1st goal.

I have my views on how Arsenal Vs Liverpool will go but I am a Liverpool fan so I am probably going with heart over brain so will save my money. Instead for fun I have gone :

Henderson to score first £3 @ 24.67 (Not bad considering his goalscoring form of late and not afraid of a strike)
Henderson anytime score £3 @ 9.28

Good luck chaps with whatever you decide to do.

So, I gained a £40 (ish) profit today from Everton winning at home against S'ton & Jordan Henderson getting on the scoresheet against Arsenal. small cover bets dented my profit slightly at 1-0 but was happy that Everton held out.

So, tomorrow I like the look of the Burnley Vs Tottenham game. We are at the stage of the season where the teams in the relegation dogfight find an extra 10% in their performance but I see them falling just short.

So I am going a £10 wager on a Tottenham win and both teams to score at 14/5 which will give me a £38.00 profit.

I do like the value of a reverse forecast so I have gone for Danny Ings to score 1st and Tottenham to win 1-3. £1 @ 145/1 as a longshot.

While Harry Kane is on fire he has got to be worth a shot at 1st goal scorer outright - £5 @ 4/1.

Good Luck all.

MASTERS BETS

I have taken some advice from others here and I am aiming for a decent cash out at some stage of the tournament :

£5 E/W on Hideki Matsuyama at 66/1
£5 E/W on Angel Cabrera at 100/1
£10 Win on Matt Kucher at 28/1

Day 1 is on Thursday so I will be keeping an eye on the progress of my 3 and try to cash out if in contention after day 2 or 3.

GL Prosniper - I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread to post my bets. I find I don't get too reckless if I document them for all to see.

That said - Just done a £7.50 double on the following :
Ajax to win away at Utrect
Feyenoord to beat AZ Alkmaar

Potential return : £33.64

Current scores after 65 mins

AZ 0-4 Feyernoord (done n' dusted)
Utrecht 0-1 Ajax - This is making me a little nervous so had £3 on the draw to make it a free bet (can't see Utrecht winning the game)
By:
Sevenman7
When: 05 Apr 15 13:05
Still Ajax hold on to their 1-0 lead. At 75 mins and Utrecht seem to be coming and coming so another £2 at 9/2 on the draw.

That is £5 of the potential profit gone to cover the bet.

Now to let in ride.
By:
Sevenman7
When: 05 Apr 15 13:15
Well, it was coming. Utercht 1-1 Ajax. If it stays like this a small profit. If Ajax nick a winner a good profit. It Utrecht find a winner big loss.

Red card to Utercht player should make these last few minutes a bit easier to take.
