West Ham game will likely end hopes of Advocaat getting job. Sunderland struggling with injuries, only hope they have is the restrictions seem to have been lifted on Adam Johnson playing, whether he does play is another thing.

Even if Advocaat keeps them up and wants the job I don't think they'll give it to him. This is team with great turnover at the manager/coach position and hiring a 67 year old with his cv wouldn't make any sense. His last position with Serbia he resigned after a handful of matches, no way he is the long term answer.
