10 minutes delay and the pitch could have been cleared before kick off easily.

It costs 6k per game to run the under soil heating

They wouldn't have to switch it on for every game, just the ones where the pitch is snow covered

even the commentators saying ball not moving freely, game should be called off now

Ground staff must be on strike or have been let go already.

5 minutes won't make a difference. You either clear the pitch and it is playable or you don't and it isn't.

Aka you dross old count, when was the last time a game was abandoned at Ibrox?

No covers, no under soil heating, no groundskeapers, then was that?
By:
akabula
When: 17 Jan 15 03:45
Under-soil heating was put on as soon as the weather warning was issued.
Covers? I don't think the players would have been happy playing on covers. Laugh
The ground staff cleared the lines and the penalty boxes and the referee was satisfied with this.
What happened thereafter was caused by the freezing temperatures.

So it was ****g amateur hour then aka as usual at the Sports Direct Arena?

Covers can be taken off you Muppet when it stopped snowing which was about 7pm when the ground staff if they existed were doing **** all to try and clear the pitch no doubt because it suited the kick and rush Sevco try to play.

Let's not turn on the under soil heating either as it never gets freezing at night in Scotland in January.

Under soil heating not compulsory in league 1.
25 ground staff not compulsory in league 1.
You cannot put them in league 1 then expect premier league standards.
More importantly why are YOU not asking about Premier club
Dundee Utd's game being off today - park frozen ffs

Shock horror. Football match abandoned. It's never happened before says one traumatised Scottish shrewdie.
The mad obsessed fan goes crazy and threatens to go to the European Court of Human Rights to get justice. Laugh

Aka slavering pish as usual. Games get abandoned yes but for a wee bit of snow in a "5 star stadium" which stopped at 7pm? Only at the Comedy Club.

You're a right wee sweetie wife as you would say Aka. A wee bit of snow or wind and wee cannae play fitba. Everyone knows the reasons why the pitch wasn't kept in a condition fit for football.

I bet you've made an appointment to see your MP so that he can raise the matter in parliament.
Do you think that this should be included in the worlds greatest disasters?
FFS a game was abandoned, a game between two teams that you claim you don't support so what is your problem?
They say times a great healer so maybe in a year or two you will get over this. Laugh

I'll take that as a yes Ibrox is as as much a farce as sevco these days but I  can't answer any rational questions and have resorted to the typical "you'r seething" teehee.

Two teams I claim I don't support????? Aka you have gone full on senile now you old ****. When have I ever claimed I don't support Hearts?

In fact it's you who keeps claiming I'm a Celtic fan as you do with anyone who rips the pish out of your joke of a club.

Go on Aka it's been a bad week why not cheer yourself up by posting a video of you're old club winning the league several years ago.ExcitedLaugh

BTW unlike Utd with us we've already announced that there is free entry for the replay for all those there last night.
And further to all your moans victor your manager says it was right for the ref to start the game and right to call it off when he did.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that the cold froze your brain.

It's just as well I don't live in the past then, unlike you, and it's a bloody good feeling saving your club then turning the 'most competitive league in Scotland' in to a procession at the current time rather than sitting in your underpants, eating a Spade Raiders and Dairylea sandwich whilst knocking one off to old videos of a century old club you let die on your watch.

Of course he said the match should have been called off. The game should have never started on a pitch which would have been an embarrassment to most Primary School's.

A notice of complaint has been served on Rangers by the splflp  compliance officer after intelligence gathering by the Cbbc has uncovered  leaked documents which appear to confirm the big screens are in fact a Harp Weather Control System .
Another  heavy fine from the slfp looks  a certainty Cry
