I think most sportsmen and women suffer with retirement. Often they don't have the skills to get by in the real world and when once thousands cheered them after a few years no one would notice them in Tescos.

You'd have thought a wealthy trade union like the PFA would be well versed in helping retired players. Maybe they are, maybe Clarke just slipped through the net.

Burnley will be holding a minute's applause.  Isn't that normally done for dead people?

I have read every newspaper this week and this forum and nowhere can I find what actual injuries he has sustained............. they started off critical, then went to non life threatening, then serious but stable, I think Wednesday he was in for surgery but no one seems to know what is injuries are?

And get your punctuation right as you seem to have an excessive use of the apostrophe....

As hft adds 3 extra full stops, as is his wont.Laugh

Oh, what "excessive use of the apostrophe" are you referring to?

Ellipses.
I don't think homefortea is familiar with their use to be honest.

Think the lack of information about injuries is because it is a private matter concerning the family. General public don't have any right to know. Looks like media treating case with a modicum of respect.

hornetman, nice to hear you've been reading all the newspapers this week - getting multiple accounts of events and using these to form your own opinion is the likliest way to reach a balanced and accurate understanding of events. Of course, you never have, or ever will, see the details of peoples injuries at the time of suffering them. completely confidential.

home 4 a poo is an attention seeker

usualy attention seekers have mental issues or their life has become so boring they have to find opportunities like this to ruffle up some excietment.

I personally do not give a f uck whether the overpromoted ex footballer lives or dies..

That is not the point..

The point is that people do live and die..

And in this age everyone has to grieve over people that they have never met and have never achieved much...

He was an average footballer and a very poor pundit....

An average man in the street that was overpromoted...

So he has been caught drink driving again, having been convicted and banned in 2011. He realised his pundit career would now be finished and that he had brought shame on himself and family and looked to end it all. I think that's a fair guess at what's occurred.

Good job he didn't kill or injure someone else when he decided he couldn't be bothered paying for a taxi. And he gets a minutes applause, laughable.

How's the Lorry driver doing? Prob an immigrant anyway so homefortea can post a whole lot more drivel about that to show what an empty life he leads. The way he worked an anti liverpool theme into this thread so early really is remarkable.
To think this man once had friends and family that loved (or at least said they did) him - now they just tolerate him and his nonsense and wait for him to die. Put like that i can see why he spends so much time on here trying to upset people!

Just hope that Clark has not been promoted to a better ward due to the fact that he is a minority..

Why not as he built his career on that..

FACT...

Not sure who spyker is but I would not like to live next door or even in a flat beneath the halfwit...

H4T,lives in isle of man, cleans gents toilet there, thats why no posts during toilet opening hours, hence air fare.A question for you. On a previous thread h4t claimed he lived in a £500,000 house, then told us he can step out of his flat without being mugged.so (a)has he forgot where he lives (b) owns 2 homes or (c)talking absolute b****ks again.Regarding his hatred of scousers this stems from the the fact all scousers are always making a mess in the public toilets in douglas.the forum is full of threads were this beast has hijacked the decent posts with his vile comments ie all scousers and geordies are all unemployed, thiefs, alcholics and drug addicts, dont worry though he will move on to some other club or city.

It's very easy to hate scousers, until they apologise over Heysel, I've never heard an apology, yet they demand everyone apologises to them

FAO acquiesce...How many people from Liverpool have you actually met or know?

I'm a blue and hate everything red but any normal Liverpool fan is sorry for what happened at Heysel. What happened there wasn't meant to happen and now-one set out with that intention ( even total kn0bhead, hardcore 70s-80s hooligans expected something like that to happen )

You are a total ignorant t1t, i'm afraid.
