James Cook of the BBC reports signs that the pro-independence side has cheered up a bit.

Steven Morris reports the same from Dundee, where yes campaigners monitoring the count (below) reckon they will win the city comfortably.

No campaigners beginning to look gloomy on the counting floor. A senior figure in the no campaign has admitted it’s not looking pretty for them here.

I'm not ramping mate FFS to be ramping/trading you'd have to be Gavin Esthler and have a bank of about £650k.

I'm just copying and pasting bits of info off the various news feeds. I've made my bed, and in a bit I'm going to lie in it. As much as I'd like to stay up and watch this I've got work in the morning. I've backed YES but I'm not trading, certainly not on the astonishingly small moves in the market me copying and pasting a journo's tweets into a dead fred on here might make.

Dundee's a Yes hot spot would always be expected to win. Was in Dundee this morning at a conference centre which had a polling station and their was two police cars outside at back of 9am.

Québec’s last referendum took place in 1995 and saw the No side prevail by a hair-thin majority, with 50.58% voting against independence. Voter turnout was over 93%
