if Scotland do go independent, the real date of independence wont be 18th September. it will be the day the English voted in the eton rifles at the last general election. that sealed it.

yes, I think the English had seen enough of what Labour had "achieved" under Blair and Brown

no matter what happens, it has to be noted that this is without doubt the most divisive and destructive government that britain has seen in centuries, since the middle-ages i'd say.

Agree with that METAPHOR................. the next election at Westminster will be a good one to lose. Pity the next lot, that have to try and put the NHS back together, recruit another 20,000 Old Bill and get the Prison Service back on its feet.

it's a disgrace what the tories have done since they came in and all under the excuse of the economic crash

they have all but destroyed the nhs - it wont be around for much longer in England - it will definitely be privatised if you re-elect the tories

they have hounded many disabled/seriously ill ppl to their deaths and the media sit back and do nothing because they're in the tory pockets

britain is a disgusting nation now and i no longer want to be part of it

has crime gone up since 2010 without these 20,000 Old Bill or was there just too many of them in the first place? Sorry I don't have the figures.

hounding seriously ill and disabled ppl into an early grave... deary me

personally i am an athiest but does cameron believe in god? because if he does he must know he's going to hell

they have behaved disgracefully since they came to power and labour weren't any better - they set the wheels in motion to go after disabled ppl so brown will be joining him there

If you think that Crime has gone down you have been reading too much Government propaganda. Attempted Murder gets classified as GBH, GBH gets re classed as ABH, ABH gets re classed as Common Assault............. and nobody bothers recording Common Assault any more. Hey Presto at the stroke of a pen, the crime rate has gone down 20%............ wake up! They are conning you!

I don't think it's gone down hornet. I have no idea, that's why I was asking what the figures are. If they're all fudged up in stats I guess no one really knows.

all governments need to go after rich ppl ... they are hoarding money in offshore accounts and refusing to pay their fair share of tax

go after the tax dodging thieves and put some of them in prison, we need to make a few examples to bring the rest into line

The UK Debt bomb is still rising, even with the cuts that have been made. I just don't see how it can just carry on. Scotland would definitely do well to get out of that muddle but Brown seems to be of the opinion that Scotland would be looked at very badly and having defaulted by international markets if they don't take some of it on.

most politicians were in such schemes, going back decades! Laugh

tbh I've lost all faith in any politician, live abroad and haven't voted for a long time. I don't vote in the Spanish elections, although I could. Spain seems to have gone from a love affair with the EU to austerity measures and hating it, generally speaking. It's now in it and reversing it would be almost impossible, even if there was a vote. Maybe these unions aren't the way forward and everyone should be independent Tongue Out

It is clear that 'metaphor and high_lander' are swearing racists who are regularly suspended for their abusive posts.

They are also multiple accounts from of the same unhinged forumite...............

metaphor's racist post has been removed.

I really think you need to have a rethink about what is bigotry and what is racist. To call someone a **** merely because they were born in a country is very definitely racist.

Although I do understand a number of Scottish people have been used to getting away with this casual racism and may have come to think it is acceptable. In 2014 it very definitely is racist.
