Until the day arrives when England field the same side two matches in row they will win nothing.
A good England team should thrash the likes of tonight's opponents by 5 or 6 goals. The manager seems to be experimenting endlessly. It won't work. The lesser countries do well because they play as a team. Look at teams like Greece and Turkey in Euro competitions and how they've 'over-performed'. They've been able to do so because the players have played together very often. They p;ay as a team not as a bunch of individuals. You can't keep messing around with the team and expect results. |
