When will the powers that be wake up and realise the fact that Wayne Rooney is just not very good at all? I can't figure why he's still showing in the Striker category on my fantasy football league? I have him in my Fantasy team also ...I will be putting FALCAOOO in soon though  |

I don't get the Rooney thing either. An out of shape lump with no pace, fitness and poor technical ability. 300k a week. Must feel like he's won the lottery again and again.

This England team and manager get away with a lot.
There no better than Graham Taylors England or Bobby Robsons England (exc italia 90) but they hardly any stick. If this was the 80s or 90s they wouldnt get away with this |

The strange thing about Rooney is that he looks a bit slimmer (by his standards) and looked in decent shape at the World Cup, yet his performances have been woeful. Nearly as bad as his 2010 slump. Looks like his legs have gone. Still, only another 4 and a 1/2 years on that whopping contract.

I think with Rooney's body shape from a young age he was never gonna have longevity. I'll be amazed if he's still playing at 34.
