The refereeing rewards time wasting, diving and feigning injury. A quick directive to the refs could basically stop it in an instant.

The first rule I'd bring in if I was Sepp would be to let physios on without stopping play. You'd quickly see how many real injuries there are in a game.

Impossible to enforce every single rule in football with retrospective action, can never be completely convinced a dive is a dive etc, Vieira was not condoning it whatsoever - he was acknowledging the reality of football which is players have and always will try every trick in the book, the moral high ground English pundits/presenters take is embarrassing to listen to as it only shows that person up as a loser, in football, 'clever play' is the an asset the top team have and employ, and always will do, can't control it, can;t beat them, join them.
