Good logic there. So I`ll try the same.

Betting England only because if they win I will win, if they don`t I will be happy to lose Cool

two worst teams in the group playing for the wooden spoon.

you bet on this match at your peril.

better keeping your money to bet on the teams still in the competition after this match.

are we expecting both teams to score?

It would appear that not only is Suarez playing, but the Uruguay management made a conscious decision to save him for England regardless of what happened vs costa rica.

Also, what are the high street bookie offers for the game? Anyone got tomorrows racing post yet to detail what the offers are?

Where are from mega? I am more than happy for Suarez to play,

He only has one knee.

Despite what Suarez and Uruguay say there is absolutely no way he is anywhere close to being fit. He hasn't played for over a month, had an operation barely 2 weeks ago and is so fit and ready to play that he didn't even come on as a sub 5 days ago when they were losing to Costa rica.

O2.5 goals or BTTS would be my bet. I can see Uruguay scoring if England's defence doesn't improve

There is rumour today Ronaldo is out of the world cup because of his knee, if he plays on, it will end his career, if Suarez plays and causes more damage and his career is finished, Liverpool wouldn't even be able to sue, as I doubt the Uruguayan FA have a pot to pee inGrin

Unfortunately, roy's lovechild Welbeck will probably play, if we would of beat Italy I would of preferred lallana starting against Uruaguay, becuase we have 0 points and with them expecting to follow Italy and attack that left hand side, it would now probably be best to play in Milner in the first half and then unleash lallana second half, if England lose playing the failed ploy to play Rooney on the left v Italy will be his legacy.

Lay England.    Players like Baines, Cahill, Henderson, Jagielka, Johnson, Welbeck are way out of their depth at this level.

Wilshire also but he's not even good enough to start in that team.

i dont normally bet on England...

but there is no way they wont beat Uruguay...Uruguay are like Spain, their best days are behind them...

England at anything available @ odds against is worth a risk i reckon

Suarez could be a quadruple amputee an ill still back him to get that ball across the line. Sources close to camp - 100% fit an training, deliberate act by managent  to hold him back  until the england match so that he can be released like a " starved pitbull chasing a steak" !
England are mugs, learnt that along time ago. Players like Suarez, Robben, Pirlo, etc well, cant be compared to the drivel of rooney, gerrard an mugs.
England-you cant fix stupid. Yes im english an not proud.

Don't lay England mesmerised. I went against Australia against Chile and won money, hated the experience. Not worth it, will never do it again. You don't want to be half in. World Cup is 1 in 4 years, don't waste a special occasion going against your country. If you don't want to back them, find a goals market or something neutral where you can still cheer for them 100% or don't bet at all. But please, don't lay your own.

Gary Neville said we played some of our best football at a tournament for 10-15 years against Italy - and I agree, I was impressed.

If England were something sensible like 2.5 I would be backing them, however in traditional English style, the market has overreacted and 2.1 is just silly.

sending off is short enough not to bet but i think this is gonna be a rough old game tonight ,both need a win really ,draw not much good to either team , do fancy Costa to get something out of Italy ,
Mes cant see why you think England were better than Italy , they hit post and had one cleared off the line before they took the lead then they happily coasted home and hit the bar late on , we hardly forced a save from their keeper ,will have to be a lot sharper in front of goal tonight in a must win game ,,,Spain out are we could join them after 2 games

Rhino, the odds are the odds and England are too short. I can still fully support them, it wont dampen my enjoyment at all if England were to play well and win.

I always bet against my country. Ireland. and enjoy watching them lose even if i have no money on. Its complicated but in Ireland you are either a League of Ireland fan or else a Premier League/National team fan. Take Wes Hoolahan as an example any LOI fan could have told you in 2001 he was good enough for the irish team ten years later he joins Norwich and suddenly makes his debut at the age of 30.   Anyway  Ireland would rather play English and Scottish players who are not good enough for their own country. Nothing against these countries but to see Matt Holland make his debut for Ireland in 2000 and then 12 months later at Wembley for Ipswich tells you all you need to know about how Irish these players are. End of rant.

Texas, the only Irish managers that I remember that picked Irish based players for competitive matches were Johnny Giles (I recall Pierce O'Leary from Shamrock Rovers, David's brother) and Brian Kerr (who I think picked a player from Bohemians).  Presumably earlier era managers picked home based players. But yes I agree with the general point of your rant. Jack Charlton didn't even watch Irish club football, and as for that that Italian knob well ...
By:

Yes Brian Kerr picked Glen Crowe from Bohemians he knew him well from the U-19 team that won a world cup. Its just too frustrating even Seamus Coleman was running the show for Sligo in 2007 but couldnt get a look in for Ireland until he moved abroad.

You say that, but you won't fully support them. It goes against human nature to fully support your own financial position going the wrong way.
