Spain not finished yet by any means not that I'll be backing them at 14's. Spain will beat Brazil if they get through imo and then the draw is opened up perfectly for them.
They shouldn't be allowed win though - sporting morals say you can't be thrashed 5-1 and then win the WC. That would feel so wrong. |

Can see spain pulling summin out of the bag now after that little performance.

In many ways a terrible time to play Spain - they must be coming out all guns blazing

I thought Spain played OK in the first half against the Dutch and in my opinion they are now being written off judged solely on an albeit disastrous second period where the stars aligned and everything Holland did turned to gold. Still think they will get out of the group and beat Brazil next round.

For trading purposes their price is worth the risk. Of the top 3 in betting, little scope for those prices to come in until at least the quarter finals, Spain have a lot of wiggle room.
By:
poor chile, in some of the other groups theyd have qualified but i can only see a spain win and chile will then not beat holland, either
By:
True with a 14-1 ticket on Spain and them in the quarters you'd be very very happy. I hope Del Bosque chnages things up a bit. They have brilliant young players on the bench.
By:
will hopefully also be a cracking game, chile usually attack but i hope they dont change their tactics and try for the 0-0..cant see it though...id guess 3-1 to spain
By:
but what if the Dutch roll over for Chile in the last game?
By:
they might, spain will beat aus 6-1 though
By:
If you ask what if every time you would never place a bet.
By:
Can't understand why Chile are a bigger price to win this game now than before the tournament started.

LOL johnny mustang is right
![]() spain much better than holland generally, well in control until RVP's header. Australia pulled Chile apart a bit the other night, could easily have equalised, spain have much better players imo. If they do play Brazil, Neymar will have to beat them on his own, or Spain win easily. They've won the last three big tournaments, they'll have seen nothing apart from Germany to scare them yet, and they know they could beat Holland next time. |

11/2 even better Trilby.

Spain stuck between playing Tika Taka and something else. Always trouble when a team doesn't know what it's supposed to be doing. Chile worth a bet at those prices.
By:
Spain evens to qualify.... If they win tonight they'll be level on points with Chile. They'll beat Australia without any problems and then Chile would need to beat Netherlands to have a chance.

Chiles defenders 5 feet nothing Spain will murder them this is a banker unquoted at 6.6
Footballing lesson coming up forget the first game the 1.63 Spain should be more like 1.08 |
By:
Dont see why Chile players being short is disadvantage, Spain are hardly famour for their arial threat.
Spain are too short for me. |

spain must win and that's exactly what they'll do. they'll win this easily.

Xavi and pique dropped
good call from spain. |
By:
nice to see DB drop those players, thought that xavi looked way out of his depth at this level against the orangemen at this stage of his career, pique was neever good enough to play at this level, would love to see Degayer fit as im certain he would be starting this tonight as Casillas is pish

2-0 spain for me

Chile defence was all over the place against Aussies the more controlled football of Spain should break through it easily, Chile nippy team but lack ideas
By:
Reckon Chile should have gone with Pinilla up front but still think they stand a chance and frighten Spain
By:
I don't like the Spanish side tonight.
Casillas still in the team, he is very dodgy these days. A white-knuckle ride when he's in goals. Costa up front = long ball game which does not suit Spain. I was thinking of backing Spain big here but not any more. I'm sitting this one out. I fear Spain will be on the way home after tonight's game. Adios Espana |

GOALFEST surely?

Hot and humid, Chile will pack the midfield. Not sure overs is the way to go at these odds.
By:
chile fans have rushed the gates off the stadium....according to talksport
By:
Chile great to watch
but cannot defend for their life. |

Overs odds stink again.
