Reckon you're overthinking it
Over 1.5 was 1.53 and over 2.5 2.44 during the week, those prices were way out of line when you look at Japan's results and style of play. Punters closer to kick off will look at the stats especially on Japan's side and back overs, I think the market was just correcting from the opening prices

they drift because the early prices are set by traders who obviously havent got a clue what theyre doing. 90% of punters dont even place a bet until a few hours before a match starts. obviously everybody placing a bet sees the stats and thinks "looks like overs to me, this"
