Berkgamp I was a in a fairly bad red on 0-0 and had been pondering how to get out of it. I had typed in a bet to put something on 0-0 as odds were collapsing and then thought "bad idea" and I'd cancelled it but I accidentally submitted it and took odds at like 9.4ish, for a fairly large amount. I was in a sort of "wtf" shock at the new red figures on the screen and goal goes in. Live and learn.
I'm particularly annoyed as I'd exagerated my already bad 0-0 red by leaving an old 0-0 lay on that got taken when the odds collapsed from like 12 to 10 in about 30 seconds or something mad, a "rookie mistake" :) |

they drift because the early prices are set by traders who obviously havent got a clue what theyre doing. 90% of punters dont even place a bet until a few hours before a match starts --- not being funny, but how long have you been betting? ive been bettting 20 odd years, the bookies couldnt price up a turd in a room of twixs. --- Ok sideshow, lets take this from another angle  *IF* as you obviously propose, the early market prices are so bad in general, then why don't YOU (or other people), with your superior knowledge, clean up regularly? Riddle me that :) |

youre being daft now. i have a bank of 36k. its all tied up. --- *I'm* being daft. No, I'm not, I made a perfectly fair comment. In fact, if I thought I'd have low dropping fruit on loads of games the DAFT thing to do would be to tie up my money for a whole load of weeks, instead of circulating it through the easy wins, which would give more profit? |

i didnt even look at the overs price until about midnight. couldnt do owt if i wanted to. got 25k tied up on the world cup already and 10k tied up on the golf. if id known the price was going to be so out of line, i wouldnt have tied all my money up elsewhere. but i didnt. i cant bet on everything.

Well bergkamp timing is so impotrant. If they'd scored about 4 minutes earlier I'd have been f*cked, if they'd scored 1.5 minutes earlier I'd have been in profit, but because I accidentally went back in on 0-0 fairly heavy, I was screwed. It's not life threatening though :)
Annoyingly I'm not even pissed (drunk) just tired and making mistakes, was up early today, long day ;) |
