Wolfsburg and Vilarreal will play today in the Emirates cup, going to be very curious if De Bruyne plays and if he doesn't what the reason is behind that

^^^ I mean more locks in CM?  if we can start next week with Sterling, De Bruyne and Delph in the bag....then we have time to look at the CM position before the window closes

He's at the Emirates with the team. Assume he'll be playing.

Think he would be a great signing for Manchester City! With Wolfsburg and De Bruyne's agent all in London this weekend.....I have no reason why this deal can't get wrapped up...we must know Wolfsburg's valuation of the lad by now and must also know what personal terms De Bruyne is looking for.

Kevin de Bruyne's future has been a talking point for some time, but now the Wolfsburg midfielder has admitted that he is considering his future. The 24-year-old Belgian has been linked to Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, and he has told Kicker that he does not know where he will be playing football next season.

that line up had no midfield control especially 1st half, no yaya, either of the ferns and i suppose delph so it was no surprise they got a shoeing
an experiment from pellers? it couldn't have been anything else
no excusing the shoddy defending though, i expect only kompany barring injuries to retain his place in the back 4(and that might be a risk given his performance) sagna, kolorov, mangala are so out of form zaba and demi and denayer have to come in or clichy if fit
i'm sure yaya and fernadinho will be back to give control

seems Otamendi has been "offered" to pay off the Negredo debt with City rejecting Mangala going the other way on loan

God this thread made it to halfway down page 5. That is some achievement given City only have a handful of fans.

City destroyed a very weak Chelsea side yesterday. Coaches all over the premier league will be ripping that performance to pieces and I doubt City will get such an easy ride for a while.

6 points is 6 points though and will stand you in good stead for your mid-season wobble.

maybe we can discuss this "very weak Chelsea" side on the 28th December? Mischief

By December 28th Chelsea will have either dramatically improved with a few signings or Jose will be gone.

Let's put your victory yesterday into context; Jose lost to Wenger two weeks before and a week before Chelsea struggled at home against Swansea at home so beating them at your ground is not exactly an earth shattering result no matter what the girls in the media think.

Let's see how City fair against some of the more dogged teams in the Premiership.

MISSING

Have you seen a small child believed to be in his 40s or 50s who answers to the name of themover last seen on this thread on 27th August 2015.

He is believed to be very upset after some bigger boys took his football off him.

flip...a bitter blue thread. Look forward to audrey introducing some of these worldbeaters from the academy; city may need them now. Surely Mandelas last chance at the back ; Toure finished, big vinny thinking about his role for belgium and Sterlings counting his coins. Time to see these exciting kids. LaughLaughLaughLaugh

It's all busy on the United thread. A load of fans (some from Surrey), discussing whether or not they have the right manager, the future of Rooney, how good Best was, whether Ronaldo was coming back.

Meanwhile here on the City thread we're not really here, but we're top of the league again Wink

Can never understand why this thread is so quiet. Audrey says only has 13 fit players to pick from. Thought this academy had the best talent from around Europe...but maybe not. Think City will always be small time and s...club tbh.
