Kompany, a crucial figure in City's success this season, appeared to be hurt after landing heavily when he challenged for a header. The Belgian is likely to face a late test

1 point behind Liverpool if City win the two games in hand. Will probably need Chelsea to beat them at Anfield and then hope Chelsea slip up somewhere.

Liverpool all over us first half. Second half was an excellent performance to get back into it. Disappointed with some of the decisions from Clattenburg but nothing new there in a Premier League match

Cliche is a weak link and when they lost Toure it was a mountai to climb but if Silva puts that one into an open goal they might have went on to win,too many didn,t turn up,Dzehko/Fernandinho/Cliche/Kompany/Nazri.

When you have the creativity of Silva and Nasri, the drive of Yaya (prior to the injury of course) and Fernandinho too, not adding the drive, dependability and no nonsense approach of Milner in a game such as this is frankly ridiculous.
I have a real problem at times with Pellegrini's seeming insouciance. He is clearly a manager who likes to play good attacking football, but there are times whether we like it or not, a pragmatic approach is required and today called for Milner from the off with Navas on the bench. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's the cider but I'm fcking fuming with Pellers today |

just googling "insouciance"

actually not bothered

I just think Navas had a bad game. Didnt seem to know what to do when he got the ball and rarely got it in the box, especially not first time.

Ultimately we lost because of mistakes by Kompany.
I'm more concerned about the lack of protection for the back four. Yaya Toure has been exposed this season for not providing that protecting. Under Mancini we defended deep so this weakness of his wasn't known. But now it is known by all of us and it is time that Pellgrini gave Javi Garcia a permanent place in the first team. I've had enough of watching our back four being terrorized this season, they've had way too much work to do. Pellegrini has my full backing, but if he perseveres with Toure I can no longer support him afraid. |

we got back in the game when Garcia came on? I thought we were battered the forst half with or without Garcia. The difference was when Milner came on imo

Just thinking how Man City will approach their remaining fixtures? Their best spells this season have been when Negredo and Aguero have played up top together, with Yaya Ferna Silva and Nasri in behind
Do City revert back to their goal scoring ways and try and blitz teams? Or do they go for the slightly more pragmatic approach of one striker with Silva floating behind, with the likes of Ferna Garcia Milner Nasri and Navas backing them up. It's a tough one especially with Dzeko's recent run of form and obviously now with the loss of Yaya. So do they go out all guns blazing and throw caution to the wind? Or do they try and stay a little bit more solid and wait for the likes of Silva and Sergio to produce some magic? |
|

Think pellers will go for 5 in midfield Garcia, fernandinho, milner, nasri and silva with dzeko up top to start with, but lots of options with Sergio and negredo to come on.Got a feeling its still gonna be our year.COME ON CITY!!!!!!!!!!!
