This must be right up there with Celtic's defeat by the Highland League Club ICT in the Scottish Cup last season with NK Maribor and Malmo not far behind.

Rangers played them off the park tonight and lost 3 goals against the run of play.

Onwards and Upwards for the mighty Glasgow Rangers as the return to the top continues this season, consolidation in the top 4 next season then overtake Celtic in 2017/18.

we knew there would be a lot of folk on here last night getting all moist at rangers losing, and much as we hated the result, it's a wake up call that the team isn't quite ready for the SPL yet.

they now know that investment is needed before we go back up if they want to win the SPL but they also know that at the moment they are probably just a mid table SPL team at best.

I didn't see the match but I saw the goals and I think everybody knows that the second goal was miles offside.

however st johnstone took their chances and rangers didn't and that's why rangers are out.

onwards and upwards.

Outpost - St Johnstone didn't take their chances. MacLean's miss was worse than Van Vossen's.

Sevco had 2 shots on target in an hour and a half. They were brutally exposed by a mid table SPFL team that have played 4 away matches in the league and lost them all.

Warburton's tactic of pushing the full backs miles up the pitch left his centre backs to get destroyed as they had no midfield cover. St Johnstone just sat back and let Secvo come onto them. Sevco were clueless how to break them down and St Johnstone didn't even have to make killer passes. Just basic balls forward and they were in on goal. After the third goal they didn't even bother to try and attack. Just sat in and defended.

It was an absolute embarrassment LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

Your team was brutally exposed by a bang average SPL side who could and should have won by 5 or 6.
Your tactics were laughable and your wizard manager was taken to school by Tommy Wright.

From the BBC website:

Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green is taking the club to court in a bid to get them to pay his legal fees after he was charged with serious organised crime offences.

BBC Scotland has learned that Mr Green claims his contract with the Ibrox club entitled him to legal cover during and after his spell in charge.

His lawyers have written to Rangers and want a court ruling on the claim.

It is understood the fees involved could be in excess of £500,000.

The court ruling could happen as early as next week.    Laugh

You also need approx 8 million just for running costs, urgent repairs to stadium, a team that you own rather than filled with loanees,a manager with some tactical awareness(he looked lost when Saint ripped you a new one)and last but not least a Owner/board meber you can trust, not a lying spin doctor like KingCool

Rangers have 2 loan signings so why is the club filled with these. How many loan signings at Celtic?

Westender I give you more credit than this -- but I will try to explain

Champions League versus Scottish Championship (there is a vast difference between the 2)

Warburton has done nothing in the game,Ronny in comparison is Fergusson like, It was Sevco management owners and fans that have been going on about being SPL winners next year, the Saints game was a wake up call, so dont be surprised when all of Scotland took joy in  your new clubs woefull showing.

The old saying pride comes before a fall is very apt in Sevco dealings

By the way cant King make his mind up? Chuckie did not ask for money one day but the next he did and I refused him?

Sevco will have to pay the mans legal bill as he was acting for them when the alledged dealings took place, fighting it is both fullish and futile, typical King though playing to the masses with his we will fight this LaughLaughLaugh

RANGERS say they are unaware of any move by ex-boss Charles Green to claim legal fees from the club to help fight charges of serious organised crime.

The Ibrox club insist they have not been approached by the former chief executive who is set for a courtroom showdown in relation to the acquisition of the assets of the club in 2012.

23rd sept

King confirmed this afternoon that Green has taken legal action against the club after a request for fees was initially turned down.

"Charles Green approached the club prior to his arrest and demanded that we pay his legal costs in respect of his co-operation with Police Scotland in its criminal investigation into his time as an officer of the club," said the Rangers chairman.

"I advised him that we would not do so. He was subsequently arrested and has now approached the court to compel the club to pay the legal costs of his defence to the criminal charges.

"This application will be strongly resisted."

Old Rangers board signed deal with Charles Green agreeing to pay legal costs if he was accused of being a CRIMINAL

COURT papers served at Ibrox by lawyers acting for Green claim Rangers must cover the legal bills for his defence against fraud charges.

Rangers FC board 2012-Malcolm Murray (centre) with Financial Director Brian Stockbridge (left), Imran Ahmad of Zeus Capital and CEO Charles Green (right).

THE old Rangers board signed a severance deal with Charles Green agreeing to pay his legal costs if he was ever accused of being a criminal, the former chief executive claims.

Green, 62, is accused of obtaining “many millions of pounds” through fraud during his time at Ibrox. He is now seeking £500,000 from the club to fund his criminal defence.

Court papers served at Ibrox by lawyers acting for Green claim Rangers must cover the legal bills for his defence against fraud charges relating to his takeover, share issues and running of the club.

Green is demanding the cost of his criminal defence “without limitation”, along with the bill for solicitors, senior and junior counsel and expert witnesses.

He is also demanding that the club pay for the cost of his action to try to force them to pay his criminal defence costs.

The papers were served on Rangers after the club knocked back pleas from Green’s lawyers to bankroll his court costs.

The club will be given just three days to defend the action once the papers are formally lodged at the Court of Session.

If they fail to challenge it, the legal move could be granted.

This month, Green appeared in court on charges relating to conspiracy, fraud, serious organised crime and a breach of the Companies Act.

VIEW GALLERY
Last night, Rangers vowed to fight his action over legal fees.

Chairman Dave King said: “Charles Green approached the club prior to his arrest and demanded that we pay his
legal costs in respect of his co-operation with police in its criminal investigation into his time as an officer of the club.

“I advised him that we would not do so.

“He was subsequently arrested and has now approached the court to compel the club to pay the legal costs of his defence to the criminal charges.

“This application will be strongly resisted.”

It’s the latest twist in a complex web of criminal and civil court battles centred on Rangers.

Green’s summons claims a Compromise Agreement approved by the former Rangers board on his departure from the club in April 2013 means they are contractually bound to pay his legal costs to defend criminal action started against him “on or around September 1”.

Looks like the Board was full of fraudsters from the day Murray sold to Whyte until King took over this year.

Ashley's mob not making much noise now and you got to wonder what other garbage is still under the carpet.

Not sure why King is included in your list of Ibrox fraudsters as significant improvements are underway since his takeover. The proof in the pudding will be the 2nd season in the top flight when they should be challenging Celtic.

This fraud is history now and it will be good to see how Craig Whyte etc cope in a Glasgow Prison - these are the people who ripped off the creditors.

Wonder if the Glasgow Celtic element of the prison population will treat Whyte as the next coming of Bobby Sands or the vermin he actually is.
