Second largest playing budget in Scottish football, though the powers that be at Gers not sure we currently have a  squad capable of winning the Championship next season?
Absolutely pathetic!
Black alleged to be on 10k per week? Daly 7.5k per week? fkn joke if that`s true.
Id value both around 1k per week.

If the sports teacher in Gregorys Girl is available well then Rangers should snap him up.He looked like Sammy MCilroy after a crack binge.

Reckon Black is currently playing to around 50-75% of the players he was at the Hearts, on much larger wages at Gers.

Super Ally, said in today`s paper `Its not the players fault the wages they are offered`.
Who`s fkn fault is it then?
Who has the final decision on buying these journeymen, masquerading as top players?

He stated the other day in the national press he did`nt want a director of football.
I.E. he did`nt want any other person naming prospective signings for him or his staff.

No they arrived over 2 days bb.
It wisna`e easy spreading over 3 ton either over the auld chips, different if they are spread over tarpaulin first time.
Btw, I was probably following the Gers whilst you were a glint in your daddy`s eye, so caw canny.

Not a case of giving it up bb.
It`s about being realistic with what`s going on at our club.
The way you are talking, you are probably following the Gers most weeks, if that`s the case, good on you.
Im a fan now, not a supporter.
I follow my local junior club now.
I put in 25 yrs constant with the Gers though as a supporter before I married, home & away domestically & in europe.
That must count for something shirly tf.

@Mac
Ally identifies the players he wants and the CEO negotiates the contract with the players agent.
That's standard practice at every football club so Ally would not be at fault for inflated wages.

Aka, the CEO`s in power should be taken up for dereliction of duty if that is the case m8.
Why are we paying 7-10k for players in the 3rd 4th tier of Scottish Football who were on maybe 1-1.5k elsewhere in the top flight?

McCoist needs to leave them clowns.Rangers are beneath him.He was successful as a player in England( unbelieveable scoring record) and I believe he can go on to manage and be a real success in England.
By:
akabula
When: 01 May 14 18:40
It was the previous CEO who authorised them. Why? Keeping Ally sweet probably as Ally could sell the STs.
By:
akabula
When: 01 May 14 18:44
Part of the reason for the inflated wages was also that players had to be enticed to drop down the divisions.
Not saying that's right but that was their thinking. You're spot on with Black but I think a lot of it has to do with the standard of opposition. Hopefully next season with a better standard he along with a few others will raise their game.

We need to get value for money.
This paying over the odds for ordinary players who have had every chance to establish themselves over the years needs to stop.
