I don't agree that Collin's daftest remark was about their player being the best defender in europe.
Surely his other remark was even funnier when "Collins wants a change to the Champions League qualifying system, which he feels penalises his club for the failings of other Scottish sides in Europe." |

You've been too tied up in the Rangers (Can't really blame you) that you've not realised that your own club has been bled dry.
That's why Ronni has to go for loanees. No more cheap co-op loans either to bale you out. But don't despair. Rangers will be back next season and the blue pound will save Scottish football. BTW brac. You stated that there would be reconstruction to help Rangers as the SFA were in their pocket. What happened to it? Or was it just another story doing the rounds in paranoid city? |

Very true Aka we have some very saleable assets, 10 million here or there is nothing to the mighty Celtic, I believe your entire club and its history could have been bought for 5 million or so, where oh where were all these true blues when the club needed them, no where to be seen until they came to feed of the scraps left over.

There has never been any complaining or seeking any league restructuring to fast track the club back to the top. The new men in control have delivered a top class new manager and building a team that Rangers fans will be proud of. The stale stench cloud still hovers above Celtic Park as the quality of mgt and playing staff deteriorates by the year. Rangers will be the club providing the entertainment next season in Scotland. |

I've never encountered a Rangers fan who was in favour of reconstruction simply to accommodate Rangers.
I think celtic fans hoped it would happen so they could play the victims again. paranoia at it's best. Anyways looking forward to the new season and liking what I'm hearing both from and about our new manager. |

I've read some drivel on here but this must take the biscuit. There was no 'punishment'. The old club/company/clumpany was liquidated. Despite the authorities trying to force the new entity into the SPL and then the first division with threats of armageddon and social unrest they were put where any other liquidated club would be. At the bottom. They didn't even have to apply to join the bottom league. Could you imagine Chelsea being liquidated and the FA saying 'err Chelco have to be put in the EPL or English football will die and there will be riots'. Of course you can't because it would never happen. Only in Scotland. Fans accepted it with dignity? Are you having a laugh? Death threats to journalists who criticize or have the temerity to suggest the old club died. SFA Tribunal members being threatened and having to get police security for doing their job and a manager calling for their names even though he knew who they were and the ramifications with it. Head of SFA with death threats having to get counter-terror officers involved. Book publishers threatened. Bookshop staff threatened. Club chairmen threatened. Club staff threatened. Police informing a club of a plot to burn down their stadium. Threats of boycotts if they ever made it back to the top and hoping other clubs would die. Fans group with an 'Enemies of Rangers' list who must be punished. Chairman bragging what a fantastic state they were in financially not long after creditors were bumped out of millions. DIGNITY |
