Now that's ambiguous.
Do you mean he made the statement before the manager was appointed or are you saying he said he would spend the cash prior to the appointment.
If you are claiming the latter then you need to furnish a link. Dave King certainly made the comment prior to the mangers appointment but anyone with an ounce of common sense would realise that he didn't mean he was going to buy players prior to the appointment.
