Posted at 12:12 One of Rangers' major shareholders says the financial situation at Ibrox is "fragile" ahead of the publication of the board's business review. Rangers' recent accounts were signed off for the next 12 months on the basis of an uplift in season ticket sales, but Sandy Easdale says indications are that sales are "slow". He has called upon loyal fans to show their support for the club regardless of who is in charge. Asked if the implications of failing to meet their sales target would be another administration, Easdale said he hoped not as he did not believe they would survive administration again. Additionally, a senior source at Ibrox has told BBC Scotland he believes Rangers are "on a life-support machine". |

I watched that interview Crisp. Doesn't auger well for the review disclosure.
Still, I suppose it will keep the Rangers haters happy. RTID |

it's most likely a statement intended to frighten the fans into buying their season tickets right away and not holding back like dave king wants them to do.
king wants control and the board don't want him there so they're both playing politics using the fans loyalty as ammo against the other party. if the board can frighten enough fans into buying their season tickets then king loses some of his bargaining clout. |

If the board needed to offer current shareholders security on loans i dont see what wrong with giving the biggest stakeholders and investers in the club the same ,why dont the board agree to the terms and keep everyone happy and move swiftly on ? why court confrontation and instability ? agree to have the season ticket money drip fed in ,make clear their business plan and future spending projections .Dont see the big problem unless they have ulterior motives .
Dave king is Rangers through and through . Mr McCoist is not only manager he is also a shareholder of significant importance ....what say he ? Would like to think that Dave King will ultimately oversee a Fan Ownership ,getting the right structure in place will be difficult but its not impossible . Lets get back to our roots and the make the club about the SUPPORTERS ,afterall thats what a club is ,we have watched a period where football has lost all aspect of reality ,lets reverse the trend and build something that we can all be proud of .We just need the right people in place and so far the current board have not proven they are capable of delivering the stability thats required ,the current structure has zero transparency,Dave King is merely exposing this weakness and offering a solution at the same time which to me is progress. He is launching a company to act as a vehicle for season ticket holders to ring fence their funds ,whats the problem ? |

@BnB
I read recently online that the only caveat on the Dave King STs proposal is that the company put up assets to guarantee the funds. The cash would therefore not be drip-fed but handed over in it's entirety once the guarantee is in place. Like you I don't see any problem with this. |

I'm a bit concerned at the appointment of this new PR guy. He would appear to have been brought in as he has a bit of a reputation as a 'warlord' character. Are the board looking to go to war with the fans? I hope not. RTID

He said that our financial position was fragile whilst another source inside Ibrox said we were on 'life support'.
We have also announced today a new PR guy with a ferocious reputation as being a warlord type. All 24 hours ahead of the revealing of the 120 day business review suggests this has been orchestrated by the board. So expect doom and gloom tomorrow. |

Soz it starts of 9 or less.

If that`s the case aka I reckon this board will be ousted in the not to distant future.
The majority of the support will not sign up to this sort of nonsense for another season. They are too wise to it now. |
