I kbnow this is a Sevco thread but does anyone on here remember the old rangers team that used to play at the Sevco ground? I think they were liquidated 2 or 3 years ago. Maybe the liquidation part is a myth though.

you can usually tell the decent blokes from the hate filled bigots that like to infest the rangers boards.
I married a catholic and 2 others from my side of the family also married catholics so there was always a lot of wind up football banter when we got together but there was no hatred. I used to get special banter because my wife's cousin was a regular in the celtic first team. I always enjoyed having a laugh with them (especially if we won) but I knew enough bigots on both sides up there to make me want to take my kids out of the west of scotland and move down south. the only people who ever cared about my religion down there were some irish guys that used to drink in my local where the landlord was an irish celtic supporter but he wasn't bitter and the two of us regularly went out on pub crawls together, although trying to keep up with him in the drinking stakes was deadly. |
