Had sky for years and years but thinking of jumping ship.  Will lose more and more sports rights and keep jacking up prices.  If they lose many more premier league games they're in big trouble.

More & more of the big games being lost and BT will probably ramp it up further - lets face it if SKY lose any more of the big footie games then a significant number of viewers will change sides & the share price of Murdoch's company will freefall

The price difference is marked as well.

Sky sports is about £21 on top of your package. BT is just £12 and even free to some people (BT broadband customers). Plus Virgin include it in their XL TV pack.

If they lose any more football, they will have to think about adjusting the price. They wont though. They'll just carry on with their greed.

do BT have anything other than footy ?

I like Rugby league and cricket which you don't get to see if you don't have sky

Not much else yet but they're bidding for more.  They've got rugby union but sky have just done a long term deal for super league.  No doubt bt will bid for England cricket rights when they come up to add to IPL which I think they've got.

Darts is important for me. Sky have the lot, other than a few tournies on terrestrial.

Only really watch the top Premiership games and Champions League. It appears to me that BT are getting most of the top games and generally Sky are getting the lesser games

With Sky losing the CL in 18 months time you have to question the value of the Sky Sports Package unless you watch numerous sports. Not much longer for me I think......

The mover,

You've done it wrong mate. You should have insisted on cancelling. You have to give 30 days notice, so you will still get your tv for a month. Trust me during that time, you will get more and more offers until they virtually offer you your package half price for at least 6 months. A year has been known before.

Kingmax,  I'm using XMBC ATM with the mashup plugin. Get all sports channels including bt sports. The picture is not great but well watchable IMO. Is that what you use?

Can only back up what treble says about actually cancelling rather than just threatening. Colleague at work did it and was given 6months free to entice him back.
