you raise a valid point. Since the arrival of BT Sport I have found I watch Sky less. With BT's new deals this can only reduce "Sky time". I only have it for the sport (eg dont have movies) but also have multiroom making mine about £55 a month. Ok I pay a bit more to have a BT Broadband service but I reckon I'm getting close to dropping Sky altogether. The only thing I think I'd really miss is the Spanish matches with English commentary but Im not sure thats worth the money.

I've only got Sports & multiroom & it's over £70. How come you only pay £55? Did you negotiate with them? I take it BT Sport is still free if you have their Broadband?

easier and less expensive ways to have sky imo

You can watch the vast majority of the sports content on the web for free, albeit in lower quality.
Humax do a freesat box that works like the Sky+ (though of course with a lot less channels)

Problem is, the other half tells me,is that there are programs that she watches on SKY that you can't get on Freeview. I've tried ringing them up to discuss things but couldn't get through and I if you want to e-mail them they don't make that easy either :-(

My bills way over £100 a month been coughing 20 yrs
I've had enough the bt coverage is miles better sky desperately tried to modernise the program   But it's well behind
Gary Neville's smugness must be turning fans off by the 1000 s.  I like Jamie but you Ned a translator
Also the sky box so dated  and the cents wouldn't even swop mine for a new one
Till I told them I was off then its new box and three months  free sports.
Too late off next month all the best prem games seen in bt

I pay £75 a month for 3 HD boxes and sports and movies and no BT sport - will have to go round to my dads tonight to watch the spurs game on his dodgy box - he also gets setanta Ireland (they are showing Stoke v Utd on Saturday 3.00) all for £60 a year (and all the p orn you could want)

that's what happened to me -i'd had the box for 10 years and it was faulty, they asked for £60 for an engineer so I rang up to cancel and got a free new HD box and £15 off a month !

Exactly toffee
Few know all you have to do is ring them and they will drop your bill.
I knew but couldn't be bothered as its so hard to speak to them.
To charge me two multi rooms for boxes that don't even record is a  bad joke.
Useless camp don't even broadcast in hd sound .bt all ready for super hd  tv that will enter my room for the w cupCool

Well i've got broadband. I'm sick of Sky, it costs far too much now and is not value for money imo. So with the box and internet can you get all of the sky sports channels?

Your better paying the sky bill then getting cash back sharing your card.  Better pic quality
By:
Geesyerdosh
When: 29 Jan 14 19:03
There are 'dodgy' boxes that cost the price of the box nothing else with no card sharing.

But you need to be with a cable company not sky.
