Looks like Stoke RFC are reverting to type in every possible way.
Firstly the team of thugs doing the only thing they're good at. It was disgusting to watch too. I thought i was watching highlights of a match back in the 70's...without the excitement, technical ability, art of tackling and general enjoyment of course. The manager spunking a wad of cash before his team performs pathetically in the second season, then reverts to downright thuggery as a last resort, before the owners realise what a catastrophic decision it was to appoint Hughes in the first place...leading to, as night follows day, his inevitable sacking. I'm just hoping they hang on to Hughes just long enough so he does enough damage that Stoke can't recover...and we finally reach the holy grail and Stoke RFC are relegated. As an Arsenal fan, i would go as far as sacrificing winning the FA Cup in order to see that happen. |

Good to see the Hatred! ramping up. Thanks to Johnny and Smiley. I'd say that we have a net spend of less than £5m this season so far, so some of the suggestions tat we are 'spunking cash' are arguably wide of the mark. I am concerned about our poor start, but pleased in some way, as some Haters! who have been well and truly embarrassed over the last 8 seasons, are now starting to poke their heads, and the rest of their invertebrate bodies out of the woodwork..................
