Absolute turgid stuff by Stoke again. Surely the most boring side ever to compete at the elite level.

Mark Hughes making Steve Bruce look like Cruyff or Wenger.

The new style is an interesting. Instead of just pumping it in from the halfway line as they did under Pulis, they now pass the ball 3 or 4 times between the keeper and the defence before launching it from the halfway line.

I think Pulis' style may have actually been more exciting.

If you look at Arsenal's results though, it does tell a story:

The wins have been primarily against the poorer sides, with the exception of Spurs and Livepool, Arsenal have beaten:

Playing the top sides, they have capitulated:

Man City

Also lost to Villa

Draws against West Brom and Everton.

So, against the top sides, they can't cut it, have flattered to deceive so far, and will more than likely start to decline, once the realisation sets in that they're not that good after all.
