English is not one of the strengths that the people of Stoke possess, most of the inbreeds up there barely look human.
It was one of my longer posts, and it basically said you need to stop plugging away with this useless thread because it's not quite the same since Captain Caveman Pulis left and... Inventing a rivalry with Arsenal a club you historically have nothing to do with is, is in a word, sad. I however look forward to when you eventually fall through the trap door ![]() |

It keeps me amused. Glad it provokes such an erudite reaction. Did you use foul or offensive language in your first post, or just taxed yourself too much mentally that you forgot to click the 'Post Reply' button?

All's well that ends well.
You can't have a Rugby team like Stoke in the latter stages of the world's greatest cup competition. Remember, it is shown all over the world. We don't need them to know that dirty hackers like Stoke represent the Premiership. Far better our dirty little secret is kept a secret. Anyway, one day soon, as sure as night follows day, we wont have to feel like sh1t for contributing to the Stoke wage bill. |

So I was on my way back home from making the rich richer in the City late tonight, somewhere on the underground between Bank and Euston when my peripheral vision unconsciously registered several flashes of red and white. I looked up, and spotted a motley assortment of downtrodden, miserable looking people who had sullenly taken up all the vacant seats around me. What's going on here I asked myself (cosseted away as I was listening to 'Signs of Change' by After The Fire on my iPod Classic).
Then, it clicked. Some disconsolate youth was surreptitiously trying to cover up what appeared to be an umlaut on the red and white rag that was adorning his neck. Could that have been 'Ozil' I asked myself, then dismissed the notion. Twas only when I surfaced at Euston and managed to gain a reception on the mobile phone that I received an answer. What was, on the face of it, and to most Arsenal fans, nothing more than a formality, and a training round canter against mediocre flag-waving French opposition, had somehow turned into one of the most embarrassing evenings in their history. As I disembarked from the train some 60 minutes later, my hysterical howling had just about subsided, and I realised that in the morning, I would be able to fully savour the experience without the alcoholic haze that might currently be clouding my judgment. However, at this late stage in the evening, I still feel capable of mustering a hearty .Many more to follow I'm sure! Arsenal....the gift that keeps on giving!! |

Good to see that dirty little thug, Stephen Ireland, get what was coming.
It was like a throwback to the old days. Retribution is so sweet sometimes. He was going around fouling all game and then got his comeuppance with an absolute pearler of a tackle by Maynor Figueroa. Watching the chief thug Mark Hughes whining about it afterwards was just the icing on the cake. |

See that Wilkshere must have dropped a packets of f@gs on his sore foot again.

Congratulations to The Mighty Potters for securing another season of football at the top table. One in the eye for the Thick Stoke Hating! mugs on here!

The Mighty Potters batter Southampton into submission. 9th best team in the country. Will annoy several on here, especially the many ill informed people who have constantly predicted relegation for Stoke, seemingly liking the feel of egg on their faces.

A decent season indeed, I did post on a thread that 11/8 for top Midlands team was huge (thought it was this one), will be interesting what price for next season seeing as a couple of the others have picked up. Is Bojan likely to be fit for the start of the season?
