There's the Chile team talk - "don't forget guys this has to finish a draw"

By:
2-2 was matched @ 1.75 , only for loose change , but 1.75

I agree with Chile dark horse comments. I think there is some value for them at 66/1 to win the tournament. For me they're the third best South American side behind Brazil and Argentina.

Denmark v Sweden 2004 - I remember the 2-2 draw was pre-match favourite

By:
these games where the draw is odds on @ SP rarely get contrived , maybe some Italian league games near the end of the season and I seem to remember a World cup group game many years ago , where the 2 teams just were not attacking and tapping it around with no intention of attacking
|
|
By:
both teams got a lot of stick for it , doesn't seem to happen these days , which is good for the game
|
|
By:
Chile are a dark horse, they drew away to Brazil and were only a minute away from beating Spain last month.
However i think their style of play will ultimately see them undone in defence. |

England will be cruelly exposed in the Brazil World Cup , the travelling , the temperatures , the humidity ,altitude AND the long EPL season for the squad all stack up against England , realistically Quarter finals is the best they could hope for , hope I'm wrong , but i doubt it

Italia '90 was their best chance , england need a winter world cup to have any chance at all , Qatar 2022 might be held in the European winter i heard , EPL season and european cup runs must have an effect on some of the squad

Some big towers being traded on Chile. Not often you see 100k lumps eaten at 2am.

It doesn't seem to happen that much, but there's still been times that a draw has been a pretty convenient result for the sides involved and the odds have reflected it. I seem to remember the odds on the draw being odds on, and the 0-0 being quoted as short as 6/4 in places in a Champion's League game between Arsenal and Porto(?) I think it was where a draw would have seen them both qualify for the knockout phase.
It surprised me at the time to see it being banded around in a Champions League game, much like it does in these types of games, and for the majority of the match both sides went for it all guns blazing, I remember a fair few great saves and at one or two points the woodwork was well and truly left shaking, IF it was set from the off to be a 0-0, then it was the luckiest case of a "Fixed score" I'd ever seen. The thing I do remember the most from that game though is that the last 10 minutes of the match were dull... extremely dull... and the game petered out to finish 0-0, and both teams got the point they needed. I did question whether or not it would have been a different last 10 minutes had one of those chances been converted, but I can safely say that for most of the game both sides really went for it. I wouldn't rule out the draw here, laying the draw was a great move by the guys that have done it. I am also happy at being able to trade out on the Any Unquoted in the other game, but I'm happy now to have a small investment in the draw here based on the beliefs before the game |

Uruguay 3-2

3-2 - this could be something crazy like 6-3
|
|
By:
agree with you CJ , massive lumps trading on the 1.0x Chile , wouldn't want to be a heavy backer at those odds if somehow Ecuador score next
|
|
By:
We saw a similar pattern with the Italian games last season. Games that were mutually beneficial were traded on expectation rather than reality, over half of them landed, however. I wouldn't rule out a draw here if the other game goes crazy.
