Chadli's first 45 mins in England have been completely forgettable. Much like this match

Palace doing well, what did you expect from them? They are not going to play like Barce

Think when Spurs get sandro back they would be much better suited pushing Dembele further forward and binning Gylfi

palace dont seem to have any options, gayle is spending too much time in midfield, and wilbraham is flicking headers to nobody

Footballing Cliché #2341 "Well Palace have brought Spurs down to their level"

Footballing Cliché #3598 "You couldn't tell that one side was in Europe and the others were recently promoted"

No Modric, No Bale (we assume) - Spurs will really struggle. Impossible to replace that sort of quality.

WOW SPURS ARE USELESS WITHOUT BALE .. WILL £85 MILLION COMPENSATE FOR THIS POOR QUALITY

Spurs backers nervous now.

When: 18 Aug 13 14:22
well Holloways tactics are clearer now anyway - no Blackpool kamikaze football, instead a rock-solid 3-man midfield working like maniacs to protect that weak back 4.

I disagree Rhino. I think once Sandro is back they have a really strong front 6. Paulinho & Sandro with Dembele, Lennon and Chadli behind Soldado is as good as most teams in top league. Just so far today they haven't clicked at all. All very buying an in the box striker like soldado but he needs them to actually create chances

it depends where arsenal finish, if arsenal finish 17th spurs are guaranteed to be relegated

Can't see them improving happy, can only see them going backwards.

As a Palace man all my life I have to say it's not that easy on the eye but if we can get a draw or an improbable win it would be a great start for us in what is going to be a relegation scrap from early doors.

Hmm agree to disagree mate. Soldado will get 20 plus goals I think and Dembele is one of the best players in the league for me

Would be nice to see Defoe paired with Soldado quite soon.

Think all Palace games should be on a Sunday
As they look like a pub team.

why don't they play bale?

yeah not exactly pretty from Palace but you have to admire how hard Jedinak and Dikgacoi have worked, theres no slacking off in that midfield

I just ain't a huge fan of Sigurdsson. Think he had a great 6 months at swansea but it's never happened for him at Spurs and would much prefer to see Dembele further forward or Defoe paired with Soldado

agree about Dembele, class player...spurs midfield to slow to release quicker ball imo

palace do actually have talent on the bench too, wonder if they will use it or whether Holloway will keep it defensive

Turning out to be the bannana skin we feared for Spurs. News guys gunna need time and the guy who scored or assisted 45% of their goals last year doen`t want to play for em anymore innit..
Too early to write em off obv but  If I were a Spurs backer I`d be dead grateful that they`re still odds-on and bail out for a small loss now..
By:

Think it was clear from Playoff semi and final that Holloway was going to be as defensive as possible and try to nick results. Can't blame him really but would like to see Spurs just press a bit more and move the ball quicker. All been a bit predictable thus far

SPURS SPENT £60 MILL = SHJIT

ARSENAL SPEND £0 = SHJIT
