I think it's dangerous to really pile into any bet at this stage of the season.

I am cautiously on Spurs, with the 'draw no bet'.

They've signed no-one worth talking about, same as Hull.

even the 'no-one worth talking about' is better than some of that rubbish...

Wilbraham? Moxey? dear oh dear this is going to be embarassing

Spurs shortening as the world suddenly realize that Palace haven`t signed anyone decent.

I have a really bad feeling about this one Spurs backers - leaving them alone.

Mile Jedinak to score @ 15/1 is the go

I didnt write them off until I saw that teamsheet - ffs, that is total rubbish, the only new signing included is a Peterborough striker Cry

and that defence is a second-choice defence in a team where the first-choice defence is useless Laugh

Can't see anything but a comfortable Spurs win here. Have betted accordingly.

Spurs win
Over 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5
Spurs handicap -1 and -2

Quite like the look of the Spurs side. Can see goals all over the pitch.

Is this Wilbraham to whom you refer Aaron Wilbraham?  We had him on loan a few years ago in Division 3 and he was complete garbage, so I can only assume that this is a mistake and that they're fielding someone half decent.

A couple of things in Palaces favour - they have some big ugly brutes in that team, so quite handy from set pieces, and the midfield looks tough, solid and hardworking.

The keeper is pretty useful too. Which is good, he'll be busy this season Laugh

Rob - yes its that Wilbraham, and the scary thing is, there are worse players in that Palace lineup Cry

We looked really poor at defending set-pieces in pre-season too (and also at times last season in the league). so could be some joy for Palace there. Hopefully, we'll score enough to get the result. COYS!

I can't believe Wilbraham is still at Palace.  I thought he was punching above his weight when he was at MK Dons in League 1.  I watched him in the play-offs and he was Palace's worst player by far.  Having said all that I hope Palace win as Ian Holloway is fantastic.

Can't agree with that, Dirk. I think Bruce has made some good signings. Figueroa, Huddlestone, Livermore, Curtis Davies and Danny Graham are all players with Premiership experience and who have the potential to do well for Hull. I think they might surprise a few people. They are solid at the back and the signing of Alan McGregor in goal is a good one too. He's always impressed me.

Wilbraham is a terrible player. God knows how he is featuring for a Premiership team. Total cart horse who wouldn't look out of place in a semi-pro side.

I'd rather be on Speroni to get a hat-trick; Wilbraham is absolutely shít.

That Palace midfield looks like quite a defensive setup to me, but lets see what tactics Holloway uses

The Jedinak/Dikcagoi/Garvan combination is tough, fit, strong, tall and good at winning 50-50 balls. Not really known for their technical skills, although Garvan has a decent free kick and long shot.
