You couldn't get a 1.01 with 3 min to go even if a strong team had only a 2 goal lead ,let alone 5.This 1.01 value story is as old as Betfair ,and the theory gets debunked daily.Mugs build their banks by backing 1.01s for weeks/months and then get wiped out like today just to say "very unlucky/fix/mafia"

A cliche, and wrong. I never think it is in an in-play situation, as it's impossible to read a situation completely, and football is all about impossible comebacks. Taking other 1.01's, like England winning 8-0 in San Marino, is pure value, as the truth is you shouldn't even be able to bet on it.
