Just had a look at the refs stats...........
out of his last four red cards over since September in european or internatinal matches (6 months )  He has manged to send off the following 3 out of 4..... Pattern?
nani - Man Utd
cahill - chelsea
Gerrard - England

comentator saying "how did nani know arbeloa was there, its not a red!" - surely its nani's responsibility to look who's around him before he commits cantona kicks

it was a stupid tackle by nani tbf. some refs would have shown yellow, some red.

ofcourse it was a red. 100%. didnt get any of the ball. and studs dug into his stomach. how has his foot reached his stomach while he was jumping too, and you claim its nowhere near a red

Indeed themover, perhaps Gabriel should put that to Sir Alex in the post match interview.

In all seriousness why is there massive outrage over this red?  It was slightly soft but it certainly wasn't an outrageous decision like a lot a claiming.

He studded the man in the stomach/chest area, wtf do you expect?

How about the player ran into his foot, Nani was virtually static

For those saying it was a red, presumably you think crouch should have been sent off at the weekend for accidentally knocking out Matt Taylor at the weekend?
