I use this for a hobby, overall I'm in profit but im not a huge staker like some on here

I'm from England too, work full-time and play on here as a hobby with what I can afford to lose. Done -£1700 in my first beginner year but clawed it back and i'm learning from some on the forum about discipline and playing with a percent of the bank rather than ad-hock all-in. As much as some are clearly total d**ks a lot of you on here are sound lads.

The Nottingham thing was because of an ex gf, nice place though, I really like it. Ive got family in nottingham- its not a nice place! haha you had to clear that up what with being from brighton ;) yeah, first year and a bit was like a rollercoaster, at one point I was up £1,200 then within a month down £600! kept yo-yoing, you learn eventually! Hi I'm 21 and from blackburn. I lost 7k between my 18th and 19th birthday but since then dug in and decided to learn the markets better and have made a nice profit now. Turned £50 into £165 since Monday so withdraw a little, start again and avoid Spain and Portugal for me! Agreed about the pressure I feel it part time and live with my parents hahahaha so god knows what it must be like being a pro gambler with house and kids don't think I could cope. I'd agree with biscuit addicted definetly lol. Grant i started with £30 trades in play now I use bigger stakes. Found it tough early on in play thought I'd never crack it after failing 4 days into euro 2012 but I've learnt a lot this season!

Cool, i'm at the £30 level myself so a long way to get to your level but at least I know it's possible if I want to. Ultimately i'm looking to, and currently managing, making about £20 a day, mostly on the goals over/under market. Given I get under 2k a month wages I don't think I want to be staking a grand on anything anytime soon but best of luck to you smithy. If you're making the profit keep on it!

35 year old Crewe season ticket holder who lives in Liverpool. Am a father of 2, a 9 yo and a 3 yo, but not married. Built nothing up to a few grand over about 4-5 years when I started on here but withdrew it for a holiday and I haven't been able to repeat that since, and over the last year or so have been a definite loser overall.

Mainly bet on football but with limited success. Actually have most joy betting on cycling and golf, where I seem to find it easier to make money these days.

Discipline is my biggest problem. I can spend Friday and Saturday picking out one or two football and/or horse bets and be nicely up at 5.00 on Saturday, but then tend to give it back betting on goals in the Spanish games
