mark hughes did an amazing job at blackburn with hardly any money, he did well at fulham too with peanuts

but if you give him a big transfer fund he turns into a drunken student playing football manager

he could do really well abroad as a head coach imo, just keep him out of the transfer dealings

Apart from the fact that he barely does any coaching and leaves that to his numpty Taffia henchman (who are equally as clueless at organising a team)

His days of putting his snout in the trough are gone..Will go the same way as Bryan Robson hooking up with dodgy consortiums to buy clubs..He wont dream of going to manage below EPL because he thinks it is beneath him

Bringing the thread full circle, Crystal Palace actually played in the Inter Toto Cup.

A Palace mate of mine went to a game (in the middle of Summer, IIRC) at Selhurst Park against a Turkish side.
He said there was more Turk's than Palace fans at the game.

Joleon (or Julian as Mancini call him) Lescott is on £90k a week thanks to Mark Hughes, and is now surplus to requirements apparently.

REDKNAPP is now picking players who arnt good enough and are probably overpaid for their ability hill, derry, nelson.mackie etc to try and prove a point to the mercenries,
but there paying the players anyway who,ll be laughing their heads off at not having to try and dig some results out,if harry wants some kind of retribution of a situation he more than anyone helped create he should pick them and let them suffer in the public glare,
no matter what your salary theres no escape on that pitch, cisse will have been delighted to be subbed at half time on saturday

Cisse was a bizarre signing,He's been shít at every club he's been with,More interested in what colour hair dye he'll be prancing around in next week than he is of kicking a ball.

Redknapp out of his depth IMO. 3 Champions League winners in the squad and he is having a go at them.

Once England have failed dismally at the world cup (if they even get there!) the FA will spend another tidy sum getting rid of Hodgson and replace him with Pardew Laugh

Bosingwa should have told him to put his medals out on the table. The bloke from the Antiques Roadshow may of been required to identify Redknapp's.

A Very overrated manager! His mate Savage keeps sticking up for me...I wonder what he'll spout out after that defeat.
It's not as if West Brom score a couple of goals each week let alone 4!
