This game went into suspension and was on 83 minutes I hacked backed under 3.5 goals.. it was 1-0. I wanted to lay it off if it went 2-0 or 1-1. However it has not updated since and is still showing 83 mins after a 7 minute wait. Any idea whats happened?

Ive just noticed that it has been suspended on livescore so I asusme something went wrong with the match. Any idea what happens with these kinds of games/bets when this happens?

I was watching it on Bet365 and the screen just went blank. Maybe a power cut at the stadium? These markets are usually void if the match isnt completed

I havent been refunded the stake yet though, am starting to get worried they wouldnt start the game again another day and my 3.5 goals bet still stand will they?

My stake hasnt been refunded yet either but nothing unusual there Betfair can be a bit slow to close markets. No they'll probably reschedule the game but all bets will be void

sometimes have a 3 day rule - so all money tied up just in case replayed in next 3 days

In my experience betfair don't void all bets at all. If the match isn't finished all unconditional bets - those that haven't been closed - the 3 day rule will apply.

Dont think that will happen in this case... the game was showing as 'Interrupted' on Flashscore a good 5-10 minutes before BF suspended it so there would have been a good chunk of money matched after that.

Would be too awkward for BF to decide which bets should stand and which should be voided. If the market suspended as soon as the match was stopped then the 3 day rule might apply

it's not awkward at all - they voided all bets after the winning late Barca goal against celtic last week as a result of a late suspend. All other bets stood.

Betfair didnt suspend the market until the 83rd minute but the match itself was stopped before that. Crazy!

Can someone post me the news bulletin or information that says its to be played at 13.00? will BF automatically unsuspend it at that time? I want my bet voided really as it was made in the 83rd minute when odds for over 3.5 goals were very low.

Ok, so I take it betfair will void my bet then as theres no way I would have taken 1.01 for 3.5 goals at that early.
Surely they will void all bets? |

I have read the 3 day rule thing, but surely thats not fair, as I placed the bet under the understanding that it was at the 83rd minute and the odds reflected that. If it has 27 minutes left over 3.5 goals at 1-0 would not be 1.01. Its betfairs fault for not suspending the match straight away.

the best thing you can do is ring them and see what they say.
They may say you should've checked on how long had actually been played in the game, but they may take pity on you. |

I have emailed them. I mean you assume the BF times are correct, they should be keeping up to date with the goings on in the match.

BF are pretty lax sometimes but sometimes it works for you. In the tennis yesterday the Wozniacki match didnt go in play for 4 minutes after it started! Was great scalping to be had with no bet delay!
