It was a very bad value bet and an impulsive one which was the loser. There is a massive difference between backing under 4.5 goals at 1.1 part way through the match while you are watching compared to jumping on over 0.5 goals at the beginning when you aren't watching.
It was a fairly easy bet to get out of, as for a little risk you can reverse the bet and save the loss. I know people don't like after-timing but if you bet over 0.5 and see a 1.07 shot turn into a 1.3 I suggest you get out. Fortunate for me Porto's goal was disallowed but it would have been a small loss anyway. |
