Yep, just pondering reloading for another shot at this - was just beginning to get into the swing of things there

Bet 7: Vikingur R v Vikingur O VO £21.67@3

By:
Well that wasn't the best start.

Decided to have one more shot - have put money down on set betting on the Wickmayer match but since it doesn't start till after Danilidou v Watson I'm trying to get out of it - want to hit the ground running! Hopefully some kind soul will match me up soon.
|
|
By:
Unless something miraculous happens I'm out here. Will have another go later in the week.
|
|
By:
Out of the Wickmayer market now but can't see anything worth punting on for now, will see how Watson's game develops.

The chasing demon has overwhelmed me a bit here, either that or its the wine beginning to take control.
1. Heather Watson to beat Daniilidou £25 at 1.24 Will probably green this out if she breaks again. |

By:
Plucky Heather
Keeping the faith for now. |

watson is gonna win..she is good on her serve..what do u think of wickmayer??im temped to go on her
|
|
By:
ill join this on payday 26th july,
strangely the day olympics football starts :D could be epic |
|
By:
Yep, Watson's not quite on the trusted list yet so quite happy to get out at 1.02
Can never tell what kind of display Wickmayer will put on - but the girl she's playing shouldn't give her too many problems I'd imagine. Although I'm always wary about backing people early in tournies after they had a decent run the previous week. |

1. Heather Watson to beat Daniilidou £25 at 1.24
2. Lay Yung Jan Chan 2-0 v Wickmayer - liability £30.10 Gone for my original bet, although the odds have moved a tick higher than from before the Watson game. Thanks to plucky Heather I'll get a bit more winnings if it comes in now though. |

Odds of 9.8

i think im gonna back wickmayer 2-0
|
|
By:
Looking at Chan's stats doesn't suggest there's a class player in there - good chance of it happening. She's only beaten K Bondarenko in the French and a few mugs I've never heard of in various qualifying tournies this year, so it looks a decent bet.

Retirement from Wicky there - set betting void. Thank feck for that

Rubbish thing about tennis set betting is having to wait till the end of the match even though it's already a winner pretty early on. Never mind, patience etc.

so I could have bailed and jumped on AEL, but a win's a win.1. Heather Watson to beat Daniilidou £25 at 1.22 2. Vitoria to beat ASA £30.13 at 1.08 3. Puuma to beat Warrior Valga £41.50 at 1.12 7. Manchester United to beat Amazulu £46.24 at 1.22 Fraught with danger this one, with it apparently being Nelson Mandela Day today, so will probably escape when (if?) Man U take the lead. I do feel its worth the risk though, plus the other evening games seem harder to call. Of course, if I lose I'll have the consolation of 100s of witty "Let's all laugh at Manure" threads to sift through later tonight ![]() |

0-1 already, good stuff.
Molde-Ventspils isn't going in play which was the only other attractive pre-match option to me and since I got burned on a non-inplay game yesterday will swerve that, let the United bet run a wee bit longer and see how the night's games develop. |

Cheers Vegas - hoping to avoid the kind of poorly thought out bets that killed the run last time.
Bet 7 takes me to beyond the £50 mark (£55.89) so taking out £5.89 to run with £50 and banking 10% of any winnings from now as on the previous run - don't want to end up with nothing. Can't see anything worth jumping on for now, back when something decent comes along. |

Again, a bit riskier than some of my previous bets but I can't see the away side winning here, so happy to take the gamble. As always in Peru 0-0 looks most likely tbh. |

Enjoyable, if slightly nervy, end to the game in Peru - 1-1 FT.
Tempted to leave a lay of Seattle against Chelsea up for through the night, but with no idea of team news as of now I think I'll pass on it, since I'm up early for work tomorrow. However, have gone for: 1. Heather Watson to beat Daniilidou £25 at 1.22 2. Vitoria to beat ASA £30.13 at 1.08 3. Lay Guaratingueta at 12.5 v America MG - liability £32.32 4. Manchester United to beat Amazulu £46.24 at 1.22 8. Lay Ayr Utd at 16 v Bolton - liability £49.95 9. Lay Inti Gas at 7.2 v Alianza Lima - liability £52.82 10. Seattle Sounders v Chelsea Lay 0-0 at 17 - liability £60.16 I figure in the worst case scenario even a shadow Chelsea team should be able to score against an MLS side - and Seattle are not too bad themselves (by MLS stsndards, obviously) so could manage to nick one themselves. Slightly better odds laying the 0-0 than going for over 0.5 in this one. Mostly matched and I'm sure the outstanding £7 liability will follow shortly. |

Having seen the FT Chelsea score, chuffed the 0-0 lay came in - although I wish (a) I'd been brave enough to follow my first instincts and lay Seattle and (b) since the first goal went in on 3 mins, that I'd stayed up for another 20 mins and got on something else. Never mind, a winner is a winner.
Also pretty pleased that Seattle managed to score, which means I can claim there was a BTTS tip in the ramblings I posted last night ![]() Going out with Mrs Milla this evening so if I do jump on something using the mobile after 1800 it may not be posted until later, as getting on the forum from my phone is a pain in the rear. Pondering the 1600 kick-offs, as of now undecided whether to play super safe or take a calculated risk. I do like a ramble sometimes. |

Bets 1-10: £25 -> £63.34
Withdrawn: £7.37 11. Anzhi Makhachkala to beat Honved £63.34 at 1.15 Did think about laying Honved to be completely safe but with odds at 34 pre-kick off, that doesn't really appeal at this point, it's the kind of thing I'll be doing when the balance is a lot higher than £63. The other one I was considering was laying Metalurgs Liepaja but after the Dudelange fiasco I've been scared off laying home teams pre-match for a wee bit. |

If I win my next bet will be a lay of Hafnarfordjur against AIK. Unless I've jinxed things with that post

might give this a blast using 2 £10 banks

Sensible approach - I daresay I'll be operating with more than 1 bank if by some miracle I manage to get to a high amount - doubt I'd have the bottle to stick a few hundred on a single bet. All in seems to be working for me just now though.
Anzhi take the lead just before I have to leave, very considerate of them ![]() |
