oh no not another villa fan is a cúnt of the highest order, horrible ugly príck ............................................. How i ask did you know i had an ugly prick? |

MON was found out?! You mean the man who single handedly kept Villa in the top 6, despite the fact the players were utter gash?

Unfortunately MON caused the current predicament IMHO. Too many poor players on high wages with high transfer fees.
Look below this hall of shame......Habib Beye on £60k a week FFS. Didier Agathe (Celtic, Free) Chris Sutton (Celtic, Free) Shaun Maloney (Celtic, £1.1m) Moustapha Salifou (FC Wil, Undisc) Zat Knight (Fulham, £3.5m) Marlon Harewood (West Ham, £3.5m) Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham £8.5m) Wayne Routledge (Tottenham, £1.5m) Curtis Davies (WBA, £10m) Steve Sidwell (Chelsea £5.5m) Nicky Shorey (Reading, £4m) Luke Young (Middlesbrough, £5m) Emile Heskey (Wigan £3.5m) Fabian Delph (Leeds United £6m) Habib Beye (£2m) |

Stephen Warnock (£6m)

MON left because he demanded to keep his best players and wanted "real" money to buy top class players, so they could make that final push into the top 4... Lerner gave him a flat no. He was fed up shopping around for bargain basement players, he wanted to ake Villa to the very top, Lerner didn't want that. It's your owner you should be protesting against.
And as for McLeish, did he ever get a chance there? Did he get any money to spend? He was being boo'd n the pitch from the very beginning. Any manager worth anything would run a mile from the Villa job. No money to spend + fans who expect miracles = a nightmare job. |

Even more remarkable then if he managed to get that lot into champions league contention.

And buying Zat Knight and Curtis Davies, and selling Gary Cahill borders on incompetence.

It wasnt that lot that got us into CL contention....most of them barely played a game..... it was the other £90m he spent on Ashley Young, Milner, Downing etc |

Quite hilariously, Mick McCarthy is 2/1 second favourite with SlyBet. Second face here too! Very, very funny joke.

Its going to be Paul lambert.
By:
Paul Lambert will definitely be first choice. If he rejects it I expect Gus Poyet to be approached.
By:
Id settle for Poyet.
By:
Do you think Lambert will accept?
By:
Judging by his interviews, yes. Not entirely convinced he'll be approached though - isn't he best mates with MON? Forget Martinez.

Looking at the market, Solsjaer seems to be having success right now.....maybe have him for a few years before he replaces Fergie. Dont want Fat Waiter. Lerner wont even ask Maclaren this time. To me Rodgers, Moyes and Lambert are the front runners....all three of them able to bring success on limited funds.....with Solsjaer as an outside bet. Solskaer nailed on according to reports. |
