These aren't a bunch of kids, these are battle hardened fully experienced players. They wont care about the 100,000 screaming Catalans. |

You could hardly expect chelsea to score in this game too looking at the match, but it happened. Everybody plays like that against Barca, and almost every game someone scores a counter against them.

what price a sending off in the 2nd leg? 7/4?

You hype merchants are still at it !! Have no love for Chelsea but one early ball over the top of a piss poor defence in the second leg and the game is all over. You can pass the ball around all you like but if the opposition can tackle then you will be limited in your chances.
Once again I will state that if Messi played in the Premiership he would be nowhere near the best player and that is in a League that has had its worst standard of football for years. Hype Hype Hype........ |

make no mistake barca are a fantastic attacking side , but defenseively their lacking, how many clear chances did chelsea have yet scored , barca had massive possession loads of chances but couldnt find the onion bag , oh for a chelsea away goal on the counter now ha ha ha

you are off your nut! |

homefortea is right, Messi wouldn't be anywhere near as effective in England. It's too physical, he wont get the protection he enjoys playing for Barca. And Barcelona couldn't play the way they do in Spain in the EPL, their style wouldn't work here.

i agree with homefortea in england messi would be kicked off the park

Still at it !! Since when was possession counted in the final score especially playing it sideways in your own half.Ray Wilkins would be declared the Best English Footballer Of All Time if he played in that team !!
|

rubbish! messi would still get 40 or 50 goals in the barklays

Barca need to get hold of a better keeper imo - Has only one or two things to do each game and still makes a balls of it too often

notwhatyoudo..take some more water with it,watch American Idol and retire to bed with Hello magazine. You obviously get carried away with events.......

My final tip for today. That poor mans Barcelona, namely Swansea, are absolute certainties to be relegated next year.Remember where you read it first !!

Nicely done by Chelsea, good defending and some luck did it for them today. Although I had my money on a draw I'm glad Chelsea won. Hopefully there won't be any spanish teams in the final.
