GTFI - I wouldn't want to devalue you as either a customer or a forum user. Nor do I feel you are in any way wrong to want answers. Hopefully the fact that I am here discussing it with you and others, and trying to obtain further details for you, is evidence of the fact that you and the others on this thread are valued. But what I can't do is magic answers out of thin air when I don't have them - and sadly, it's not as simple as phoning one of the teams involved. I want to update you as soon as I can, but when I'm told there are a number of different parties we need to speak to, I have to wait I'm afraid. One thing I would say is this: you may be right that on this occasion we are alone in having not paid out on this game - but when other betting firms are in a similar position, do they give customers a forum on which to discuss it and speak to staff members about it etc? Happy

PS...   I also run my own site that have over 80 BF members in there, very long standing BF customers like myself in a majority of cases, we left this community because of all the crap that is said and the 'vultures on the fence' syndrome...

I would state it as proof but that is infringing your rules, but feel free to IM me BCM if you wish for proof of it and to see that actually yourdecent class of punters have a voice... with solid tips it should be added.

Block me fine, but a the end of the day you would also be blocking another potential 80 pnters that i intend asking for support to get 'our commnity' back to its rightful place. above god damn games and slot machines!!

GTFI - very hard for me to answer that bearing in mind you've never made me aware of it before! But by all means send me a PM that elaborates - I'd be happy to give you a call soon to discuss it further, as anything I can do to make the forums better for valued customers is always something I would look at.

Calm down guys :) We need an answers only we don't need apologies. Other bookmaker paid off that game because everythig was right and there was no reason to void. They can confirmed every detail of this game and they paid why is this so difficult for powerfull Betfair to confirm?

cahir4 - and I want to give you an answer! I totally appreciate that you have been patient, but what I don't want to do is say something about what happened now, that has to be corrected later on. Doing my best, rest assured.

Viborg have a summary of the match on their webpage:

http://www.vff.dk/sportsnyheder/63-news/2012/6380-vanvittigt-nederlag-til-reserverne

No foul play - just sit Viborg play. Lyngby where down 10 men from the start of the second half and still managed to turn it around

@BCM... sorry im one message behind you each time, im on a satellite system (sisters house) so wont be home until after 9pmish tonight.  No mobile signal etc here..

When home i will IM you with details as airing anything else 'in public' isnt fair now you've responded.  I appreciate it.

Hope this gets resolved soon.  I cant even place a bet until it does with money locked in on result and goals :(

GL with your 'investigation'.  (I still dont see the problem lol as all valid comments have been answered already in various posts)

All the best ;)

it was 90 min game for sure
By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:06
this was from lyngby websites
By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:10
It looks like the times have been input wrongly. Lyngbys goals came on 60,65,69,75 & the winner on 90 mins. Human error on lyngbys website IMO check goal times on futbol24 & betfairs times too.

"Abandoned simply could not resist the heavy pressure and with a second scoring from Uffe Bech was suddenly life in the showdown again. Lyngby 10 men dominated the match last half hour and when Yussuf Poulsen used the team's momentum to equalize with ten minutes left, it was almost unreal."

this is from Lyngby website also google translate but it confirms that it was 90 min game.

He equalized in 80th minute

No offence but i'd be more inclined to believe Lyngby's own website over futbol24

BUt the times of goals is not an issue as Betfair said. They were not sure for how long this game have been scheduled.
By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:16
I dont see how it should matter, they pay out for games that finish after 65 when it clearly states 90 mins in the game rules. If it was an 80 min game it should have been stated...

BUt the times of goals is not an issue as Betfair said

Clearly the times are an issue though, as futbol24 and betfair said the winner was in the 90th minute. How can there be any issue over the game time if there was a goal in the 90th minute
By:
cahir4
When: 27 Mar 12 12:22
They scored an equalizer on 80th minute with ten minutes left to the end  according to Lyngby website.
By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:24
and then they scored 5th  84th minute
By:
Biscuit1979
When: 27 Mar 12 12:24
Yes but Lyngby state the winner for 5-4 was in the 84th minute, but other sites say it was in injury time. So clearly there is some dispute over the game time.
By:
cahir4
When: 27 Mar 12 12:29
LYngby website says : "they equalized on 80th minute with 10 min left to the end" so it means it was 90 min game.Betfair was not sure about it and that's it.
By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:29
I was praying watching the minutes counting down and beleive me it was way more that 5 mins after they equalized that they scored the winner.
By:
Doserdad
When: 27 Mar 12 12:30
It was about 15 mins before it popped up saying that they had scored the fifth goal. Very confusing
By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:32
Goal times are diffrent but I belive Lygby website and the reason why this game is still suspended on Betfair is because they dont know if it was a 80 or 90 min game. Now we all know that was a 90 min game.

Im missing something here guys, please explain.
If it was scored in 70-80-90 91st minte etc...it is all I.T. not Extra time, so what is the dispute? Other sites have paid up based on it being in the normal games time, i.e. NOT EXTRA but INJURY time.

also, one guy was on here with some live feed, posting the scores, he had it as 91st minute.  either way they scored and it was suspended well before they scored (a good 20 minutes b4)  ie no extra money could have gone on after about 65 minutes i think it went down.  So suely the result stands?

By:

When: 27 Mar 12 12:43
We all know this game must be paid off but Betfair doesn't somehow. They are not sure about something ...abot what I don't know now.
By:
GTFI
When: 27 Mar 12 12:44
Further reasonng...   Suspended around 60-65 mins i think it was...   the goals went in well after suspention time....so regardless of what BF do/do not know.  80 or 90 mn game..NOT ONE PERSON shouted...this is an 80 min game....
NO bets were placed after (i think) 0-3 or possibly 0-4, as it was suspended and didnt re-appear...   the result wss 5-4..end of case surely?

Hello all - I'm about to get this posted on the football forum, but to be fair of all of you on this thread, am pasting it here first. Apologies it took a while: "At half-time we were alerted by our feed providers that the format of this game was 2x40minute halves, and acting on this information we suspended markets pending further investigation.

Following completion of the match it appeared that 90 minutes was played and we immediately raised this with our feed providers.  It has now been confirmed to us that the match was played as a 90 minute game as advertised and therefore we will be settling all markets.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and the poor customer experience.  We are now investigating the cause of this issue and will endeavour to avoid a similar situation going forward."
