This is going to be a thread following a system using doubles in the over 2.5 goals market, there will also be doubles on a correct score in the same match. hopefully all will become clear when I post the first bet.
I will start with a £1000 bank and risk only 1% per bet, however, I will only decrease my stake if the bank falls 35% from it's highest point. Each bet will consist of 4 bets so the 1% is divided by 4 and bet evenly amongst the selections.
Just a warning this is something new i'm working on and wouldn't advice anyone copies the bets at least until it has proven profitable over a decent period of time(fingers crossed).

this looks like it'll be 1 step forward 2 steps back repeating over n over... I hope it's not but i just feel you will be stuck around your starting bank for a very very long time. Good idea though, maybe there's a higher percentage strike rate available doing this similar with different market?
Hi dimebar, I feel like you may be right, however, im happy to stay around the starting balance knowing that eventually I will hit a big winner. It is a fairly low risk strategy and maybe with practise my strike rate will improve, we shall see.
Agree with Dimebar. Could be a case of 1 step forward 2 backwards, but if you manage to hit one big winner then you wil be well in profit. Good luck with 2nite bets.

I'll be watching your betting strategy with interest. A friend of mine tried something along the same lines with a cover bet of two nil & a more substantial bet on over 2.5 goals in the same match. Mixed results so far

Hi Steve I either use bet fair multiples or bet 364+1, ou cant select the bets all at once you have to place all 4 doubles individually.
Mac I think it will be all about keeping the bank ass steady as possible with the hope that when big winners come they will get us into decent profit and not just make up for previous losses.

Kenilworth you may be right about the bookies being happy to take the bets, however, I still feel that if the balance remains close to the start bank, it will eventually hit a decent winner to significantly boost the profit. It might not be for some people who like to bet everything on a £50 - £10,000 challenge but at the moment, im happy to plod along with it, as it is low risk and hopefully, with the way I stake will build up over time.

as they just seem to be content in stopping the other

To be honest Kenilworth My research hasnt been good enough recently, hence the not so good results. I think my reasoning was down to Parmas last few games having quite a lot of goals and there defence not being very good. I am going to be a bit more thorough in my research from now on and am considering only betting in games with a home favourite.

hi dave you can do some of the games on betfair if you go on to multiples, but I dont find it very user friendly.

Meltdown, It seems you are right, I was happy just plugging along waiting for a big winner but I have to say I am finding it quite frustrating at the moment. It was an experimant that didnt fail but I think I am going to put it on the back burner and concentrate on other things. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
