Busquets and Alve are the worst for it without a doubt, but then again I cant think of any team that dont have 2/3 players like that.

But its not the whole Barca team acting like that every week. None of them were at it in the CL ties against Arsenal and Man Utd last year.

Its the classicos that bring this out in the players, both sets of playesr not just Barca.


The other point is by far and away the worst player for diving over the two legs was Pepe. It was a jokes how many times he went down like he was dying.

That is sheer bollixs jam. I watch alot of football. Barca are the worst bye a mile. Busquets and Alves are probably the worst. But can you tell me any other team go down as often as them. I watch alot of football and barca are just artists at going down. I know in spain you cant touch players as is all about football but they are they masters of diving. I really fukking hope if the tackle they think they get is the one that breaks there leg like they are complaining about. Never forget the chelsea game in the cl where chel should have had 2 pens but they got away with it because they didnt want an english team to win. Barca are a great team but i dont like the way they dive.

Well in my opinion, Real easily match Barca in terms of play acting and diving. But their tackling is more cynical (in the way that they consistently try to bring down and trip Messi) and done with more intent to do damage, and just far more frequent.

I guess as a product of Barcas 60-40 possession dominance you are going to see more dives from Barca and more tackles from Real. But every El Clasico ive watched Real in the last 9 months (not all of the, granted) should have had at least 2 players red carded. I dont want to have to go back and pick out every individual incident but surely their must be people that agree.

I am not calling Barca a clean or fair playing team, far from it

I believe Messi has been booked more times for diving this season than Pedro, Alves, Suarez & Ronaldo combined.
